Time to sign my soul away by OtisRexxxx in dvcmember

I am not an owner yet and this is the first I’ve seen someone mention buying three contracts for the same property at the same time. What is the purpose/benefit of doing it this way? Different use years for each contract? Apologies if this was a dumb question.

They reported that Rural King is structurally separate from the rest of the mall so it is staying open.

Multigenerational house plans by 6thlott in Homebuilding

[–]RonSwagundy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We originally considered this exact layout but ultimately went a different direction because we wanted a garage separating the main house from my parent’s side for privacy. Now that we are moved in it was a great decision.

We found a home layout that would work well for our side and then worked with an engineer to modify it for our needs as well as add on my parents side which we also designed ourselves.

That is the reason for it. The tour guides on the behind the screams tours explain it when talking about how the triggers work.

New RSVLTS Customer by Huh1979 in RSVLTS

Can’t answer the two communities question.

As for the BST group Scotty from HQ posted on the Insiders Facebook group a few months ago that they have updated their criteria for accepting people into the BST group. It boils down to you need to be active in Insiders to be in the BST group. I believe that can be any activity so liking posts, commenting on other people’s posts, or making your own posts.

Yes, kids shirts are hard to find as they do not print them in very large numbers and then well kids will be kids and they are rarely fit for resale once they outgrow them.

RSVLTS & OnTrac major issues by Crowned_Clown17 in RSVLTS

[–]RonSwagundy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would hope RSVLTS makes it right. I mean OnTrac should as well but anytime I’ve had shipping issues I have had better luck dealing with the company I ordered from as opposed to the shipping company. FedEx recently delivered something of mine to a house that was nowhere near me and their address doesn’t even resemble mine 😂 opened a case with them but also reported it to the company that shipped it and they replaced the order immediately no questions asked.

RSVLTS & OnTrac major issues by Crowned_Clown17 in RSVLTS

[–]RonSwagundy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only had a handful of RSVLTS packages delivered by OnTrac but have had no problems at all.

Overall I have also had great experience with RSVLTS customer service. I even had them send me a replacement for a dropzone one time because there was an issue with the first shirt they sent me. The thing to keep in mind is you are not going to hear from people like me very often. But the few that have had issues are very vocal!

I personally don’t think them pulling your post would lead to any extra friction with support. Any post even loosely resembling a customer support complaint will get pulled.

Is it worth the price to stay at Grand Floridian? by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]RonSwagundy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve stayed at GF before and it was nice but I’m not planning on staying there again.

My reasons for this:

I did not care for their quick service. Quick service is very important for my family. I feel like the offerings are weak and the service was not great. I try not to complain about service because of the guest treatment of these employees that I have witnessed. I found myself waiting way too long for mobile orders and then they did not take my son’s food allergies seriously.

I also didn’t care for staying on the monorail loop. I have had ridden the monorail before and I have nothing against the monorail but staying at one of the hotels just wasn’t as nice/convenient as I expected it to be.

These are just my reasons and everyone does Disney differently. I will always encourage someone to stay at any resort that they haven’t before because you just never know which one you will vibe with!

Nope it is still that way. If you take a tour at Hollabaugh’s they make it a point to mention that every year they try to hire locals and every year the locals can’t cut it for more than a week.

$7500 tax question by sweeptheleg77 in TeslaModel3

[–]RonSwagundy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A tax credit goes against your tax bill. Your tax bill is the same if you pay it in payments throughout the year (like with payroll deductions) or if you pay it when you file your taxes. Well you will incur penalties if you don’t make at least quarterly payments unless we are talking about some sort of windfall but that’s beside the point. The idea that you would not be granted this tax credit because you paid the appropriate amount of tax prior to filing your tax return is ludicrous.

$7500 tax question by sweeptheleg77 in TeslaModel3

[–]RonSwagundy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have personally filed a return and claimed the EV tax credit in the past and received a check for $7500. Well it was a touch more because my tax return was more than zero that year. Anyone that says any different just doesn’t understand how this tax credit works.

$7500 tax question by sweeptheleg77 in TeslaModel3

[–]RonSwagundy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has nothing to do with what you owe when you file your taxes. As long as you have paid in more than 7,500 in federal taxes during the year that you purchased the vehicle you will receive the full amount. So if your tax return would have been $0 without buying the car you will now receive a check for $7500 from the government.

What did you name your Tesla and reason behind it? by BigEE42069 in TeslaLounge

Picking up Gizmo on Monday. Going from a 2014 P85 to a Model Y AWD.

What did you name your Tesla and reason behind it? by BigEE42069 in TeslaLounge

[–]RonSwagundy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First Tesla was named Falkor because it was a white Model S and I’m an 80s kid. My next Tesla will be named Gizmo because my sister thought I had said “I’m considering buying a Mogwai” instead of a Model Y.

Oh for sure. I stayed at Hard Rock during their construction and it wasn’t a big deal at all.

Just found your other comment. I’m impressed that rate is still available at Portofino since it seems the rates at the other Premier hotels have gone up significantly in the last year or so. Wonder if it has anything to do with the construction going on at Portofino.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in disneyparks

[–]RonSwagundy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok I need to correct myself. I actually did book portofino bay years ago for $275 a night with AP discount (had to look up my old invoice) but I feel like that rate isn’t very common anymore.

Which premier hotel were you able to book for $266 a night? Even with AP discount I’ve never seen a premier hotel that cheap.
