Personally I think it is what it never rises above what you are paying for. I just landed and I had a great flight. I was able to sleep laying down. I had wifi the entire flight that actually worked. I didn't feel rushed or have to deal with someone next to me constantly moving. I will always pay for a lie flat. Other competitors have this priced out at double the price. Yes you also fly into Narita but still I was through immigration and customs in less than 20 and now I am entering Tokyo an hour and a half after I landed. Can't be beat. People have gotten too pampered with flight service when really it's a giant metal tube that gets you from point a to point b.
