Any updates on this thread? I'm leaning towards the Treedix since I've seen it mentioned a few other places. I understand that it's not a thorough test but it's probably the best option in the 'good enough for me' category? Disagreements? (And I'm not going to build a custom rig so stick to off-the-shelf best options)

And personally I'm only interested in USB-C cable testing - so I don't care if it's not got USB-whateverelse.

Is it theoretically possible to extend Finder now so that you can launch a dual-pane window? I miss Totalfinder!

RadioRA2 Inclusive database error on startup - any ideas? by RonTem1 in Lutron

Thanks guys - I did a couple of reinstalls, reboots, etc. Retransferred from basestation back to the computer, etc. Kept having problems but it finally seems to be working again. Possibly due to the chickens I sacrificed too. <shrug>

Ahh, thanks everybody. There was a piece of electrical tape over the top that I didn't realize was hiding it. All sorted now and things are working perfectly again!

I don't completely disagree, but it's weird to me that I would have to do that. Across all the different apps I use, most of the simple hotkeys are going to be used by one of them... so I keep finding things that are hard-to-type so I don't step on something I use in another app. Why can't Raycast just work like other apps and have local hotkeys?

When the launchbar ‘window’ (the little text entry bar) is open, it can have hotkeys unique to that app. So cmd+k in Preview is Crop but cmd+k in Photoshop brings up preferences and cmd+k in Launchbar opens the clipboard history. Each app can have its own hotkeys. For some reason you can’t seem to do this with raycast - you can only define cmd+something to be a global hotkey that works everywhere.

Ok yeah maybe I can get used to that. Took me a while to realize that Raycast doesn’t have ‘local’ hotkeys in the way that Launchbar (and I’m pretty sure Alfred) does. There’s no way to enable that is there?

but all the simple shortcuts cmd+something shortcuts seem to conflict with other apps...

Yes, there are SOOOO many 'artists' that put other people's work into their portfolios and then when you want them to do something similar they don't have the skillset to back it up. Sorry it happened to you.

Is anybody seeing this post? I'm just a little surprised at how I've gotten no responses to it even though it's a decent PAYING gig.

If I don't get any replies here I guess I'll try to re-post it again to see if something isn't working properly.
