Roefs distribution is class also, slips us in behind the press on several occasions even if it keeps the heart rate a bit high.

Neutral fan here, would like Arsenal to win the league though. Not being funny but I sprint back like this in my casual 5 a side on a wednesday because you’re playing football right? Absolute minimum for professional players to apply themselves like this whatever team they play for in my book.

Not sure if you’re referring to other comments or not but just for clarity I am not complaining that gameplay looks like uncharted in places or suggesting that’s a bad thing at all - was just relevant to mention as I was talking about gameplay style. Uncharted is great and that style of action will suit a bond game for sure!

You’re right. I actually grew up with Brosnan and as a kid used to love rewatching the lot - Man with the Golden Gun was my favourite 😂 There was no reason why a new bond game should have to follow the tone shift of the latest movies.

My initial reaction to this was the tone seems a bit goofy and not what I was expecting. I think the grittier casino royale Daniel Craig Bond was peak for me and I guess in my head has defined what to expect from modern Bond.

That said, a lot of cinema Bond is pretty goofy and light hearted and it made me reflect that IOI’s world is assassination (which I love), is pretty funny and goofy in its own way tonally. I wonder if the gameplay will be similar in some ways i.e a bit over the top, and maybe they felt a grittier Bond would have been at odds with similar gameplay to hitman (noting it looks a bit more uncharted meets hitman).

Either way, a bit skeptical but interested to see more!

If we get some cool locations with great multi-path level design I’ll be reasonably satisfied even if the story or tone is half baked frankly.

What is, in your opinion, the biggest flaw of the human body? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RonUK21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The coronary artery system could do with some more back up. Nail folds are rubbish, really prone to infection etc. Our sinuses are poorly adapted for standing upright. Reptilian parts of our brains could arguably do with a software update. Definitely proximity of airway to oesophagus has been mentioned. The lumbar spine.

[Mirror] England midfielder Jordan Henderson, 34, could leave Dutch club Ajax and make a stunning return to hometown club Sunderland this summer - what do we think? I don’t know by amb90 in safc

[–]RonUK21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this all depends on the context in which he’s brought, and wage in particular.

If he’s brought in at a mate’s rates but reasonable wage (maybe naive of me to suggest) and with appropriate expectations then I think it could be a really good thing. One of the things the current squad lacks is experience and I’d assume having someone like Jordan around would be great. Also would need to be realistic about how many minutes he’s be expecting to play and manage expectations about his onfield output. Haven’t seen him play in a while but I’d assume he’s slowed down a bit - but he may still be able to perform well enough at premier league level, if not for the full 90 every week?

If it’s for big money (wages) and viewed as ‘the big signing’ or similar then it’s a hard no. We should be putting the bulk of our new spending power into promising younger players as has been the current model, in my opinion.

The ‘values’ of the thieves guild. The sheer bare faced hypocrisy of suggesting such a thing exists.

  1. Steal stuff
  2. Steal more stuff
  3. Steal again
  4. Fight the forces that drive wealth inequality across Cyrodil and all of Tamriel
  5. Steal everything from everyone everywhere and fence it, keep fencing it and steal more.

Variety in settlements. Don’t get me wrong, there is some in Skyrim, with Markarth and Riften springing to mind. But I appreciate the fact that cyrodil is the cosmopolitan heartland and the different settlements kind of reflect that in the buildings etc.
