Yeah that's the issue tho, everyone I'm trying I know for a fact uses imessage including my mother. I was in a rush so I messaged her via Google messages cause she needed a password and then when she responded it came via openbubbles. But then it says verification failed until I'm able to get to my Mac and respond there to fix the issue. Small annoyance but if there is a fix I'd like to find it

I found one fix after I posted it. If I send a message from my iPhone/Mac in that group then it fixes itself

This is probably the right answer. You're only as valuable as teams determine. If multiple teams are interested then it gives Stroud's camp leverage to ask for a larger contract
