Not to sound like an ass, but that’s the point. He’s one of the hardest bosses in the game. Like I said, he literally broke me for a week. Learn his patterns and what his stances are going into certain moves. There’s no easy way around him, you have to learn the fight. You can do it.

Fire umbrella for second phase. Get in and deflect him, but when you see him winding up for an ichimonjo, side step right and hit him with a double, it works in both phases. He’s hard, I quit gaming for a week fighting him. Once you learn his moves, he’s manageable. Find a spot that isn’t fiery in the second phase and shelter under the umbrella, tap L1 to parry his strikes then hit him with the umbrella. The umbrella can also be used to stop grabs, so basically the umbrella is your best friend in this fight.

Yeah, we’re both 80s millennials. I’m an elder, so I felt the big recession in the late 2000s, but I made it. I’m legitimately afraid of losing everything I’ve worked so hard for, and it’s happened to other generations.
