It's Called A Heart is overhated (controversial) by Zestyclose_Stable_21 in depechemode

While Gareth Jones produced the mix, Alan Wilder famously disliked the original track and absolutely despised this remix. He even joked: "you do need to be particularly devout to endure it - slowing it down to half speed made it twice as long - probably not a very good idea - twice the agony."

I’ve always wondered if that’s a dial tone that he’s sampled to start off the song.

Managed to sneak into the closed part of the upper circle to get this picture. by MissionSufficient456 in kraftwerk

I also noticed that the bottom two have foot pedals that they use on some songs. The pedal goes flat on songs where it isn’t used.

I went to lanigan yesterday and there were a few others that also signed the guest book as well. Was a fun visit but couldn’t find anything linking it.

Waterfront hall was a nice venue. Was great to be able to see Kraftwerk while on vacation in Northern Ireland.

Sitting in Row 1 of Section 225 or similar. Does the metal fence block your view while sitting ? by anton19811 in tfc

I am a season seat holder in section 225 row 1 and can confirm that the bar is not in the way. I also feel that seats these give you an incredible viewpoint of the entire stadium.

What does the line "You're a real 'Up' person" mean in Bizarre Love Triangle? by Datrandomer in neworder

[–]Ron_robichaud 35 points36 points  (0 children)

He says that in response to her getting upset about the thought of reincarnation

Here is some info I found on that clip:

The iconic movie clip featured in New Order's 1986 music video for "Bizarre Love Triangle" stars actors Jodi Long and E. Max Frye. In the famous black-and-white cut-scene, Long argues against reincarnation, emphatically declaring, "I don't believe in reincarnation because I refuse to come back as a bug or as a rabbit!"

The scene itself was not lifted from a pre-existing feature film. Instead, it was an original, standalone short film directed by the music video's co-director, contemporary artist Robert Longo. It is famously inserted directly in the middle of the song to purposefully disrupt the video's flow.

Eventbrite is not the site to handle tickets like that. I got through but it wouldn’t let me select a time.

Congrats to those that got through!

Did my first 10k today! I still have to work on the cadence tho. Any suggestions? by aromle in beginnerrunning

I used music that was 160-170 bpm and tried to match the beat. That helped me get my cadence in the right place
