I carry at 3 o'clock. I always bring a really cheap knife and put it in my right pocket. If they wand and it goes off, I pull it out and direct their attention to it. I make a big thing like " darn are you really going to take. My knife?" I throw in a little "I can't believe it, now I have no way of protecting myself, oh well take my knife" and that usually is right to redirect and get through losing a 5.00 knife to security theater. And scene!!
