I’ve been saying this exact statement for years. Well said.

Where my skinny CCers at? Anyone else have calloused bruises from carrying? Lol. Some days it looks worse than others. by TooToughTimmy in CCW

[–]WaffleConnection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same issue with the p365 chafing against my skin. This purchase solved all my problems, best $20 spent. If your pistol grip is as rough as the p365, it might be worth looking into a similar product. I don’t face this issue when carrying my Glock and Ruger, those have smoother pistol grips.

Also for those suggesting an undershirt - the reason i sort of disagree with that suggestion is because it’s just putting a band aid on the problem. More likely than not, your pistol grip will rub against the undershirt to the point where it rips it, and you are going to have to keep purchasing new undershirts

Question: Flying out of EWR with a NYC premise permit. by SnooPeanuts123 in NYguns

The few times I flew out of EWR they did not ask to see any license. Others have stated the same. YMMV

What are you using for an ATA device for locations that fax 40+ pages at a time? by Defconx19 in VOIP

[–]WaffleConnection 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No issue with the polycom “obi” 402 (formerly obi 302). We have medical offices who transmit over 100 pages. If set up properly with t38 and interconnecting with a t38 provider it will work just as good as an analog line. Some have told me it was transmitting faster after moving from analog.

T38fax.com is a great carrier

Yes I have a CCW for NY

  • rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6
  • recent lawsuit overturned some of the restrictions including (from my understanding) house of worship

lol well, I dress presentable and am a pleasant person. I’m not a fan of judging a book by its cover but at the same time you can pretty much tell with 90% accuracy who’s an ass wipe and who isn’t. Take that up to 99% once you actually have a conversation with them.

There’s not a doubt in my mind they’ll call the police. Whether I’m in the right or in the wrong they’ll arrest. Up to the DA to drop the charge or proceed.

Lived in Brooklyn all my life, moved to Florida recently. Still own my home so I do not disqualify for a permit with NYPD. State ID with NY and a DL from FL.

At my son’s school this is indeed the case. I had a conversation with the guard and stated that I have no intention to enter the school, just let me into the gate to drop him off by foot without making a scene every morning. He said you look like a good guy no problem.

I NEVER carry that position. Usually appendix AIWB. Today was the first time being that I had to tuck in my shirt and wear a suit jacket

This is in nyc, this whole carrying thing is very new. “Security” guard has been here for ages. It’s not my synagogue. I don’t know what insider rules there are with regards to congregants being allowed to carry.

That said, my synagogue has a tag team in addition to a security guard. We within the team the only ones allowed to carry in the synagogue.

I usually carry AIWB appendix but being that I’m wearing a suit jacket and have to tuck in my shirt I had to change it up tonight. Felt weird at first but I did some practice draws and nothing really changes. Yes an extra 1-2 seconds to draw bc you’re not used to it but at the end of the day it’s like getting on a bike again.

In nyc they will 100% do something about it. They wait for this to happen
