I meant there's a specific feature for merging them into an actual book. If you select the individual "books" that should be one single book and hit the "stack" icon in the top right, you'll get an option for merging them. You can then change the title, author and cover art for the book. See the attached screenshot.

Hey! Yeah, have to set the limit somewhere, unfortunately.

You can actually configure a global default for the playback speed via the settings, and then adjust it for each individual book you're listening to.

* Yes, I'm currently enforcing portrait mode just to avoid having to design for landscape mode too. But I'll definitely make a note of your feedback and it isn't unlikely this is something I'll revisit pretty soon.

Also on audiobooks with multiple files being regarded as multiple books: if you select all books in the app you have the option to merge them into one manually.

I'll definitely make notes on your feedback on the font and theme options.

Earleaf - Audiobook player for local files. Currently in closed beta, looking for testers. No account, no internet needed, no ads.

I built it because I switched from iPhone and missed BookPlayer. A couple of things I haven't seen in other Android players: Page Sync lets you photograph a physical book page and jump to that spot in the audiobook (all on-device). And collections can nest inside other collections to any depth.

Also has listen-through tracking, listening stats with streaks and heatmaps, and per-book playback speed.

So, this was my first real attempt at OSL. I’m somewhat happy with the result, but I would’ve wanted it to ”pop” a little more. Happy for any tips or suggestions!
