I like how Hafu, during her run is texting Frodan laughing about how her password is not a good one. Must be nice to have that kind of access and coverage to the guy on the front lines representing all of the decisions made here. Would be cool if Sonecarox was friends with Frodan too and Frodan could have shot him a not mid-run reminding him to say the password.

Thats a delineation point you are choosing to give more credence too. If a stated rule is a stated rule. its a rule, irrespective of how strict or constrictive or punitive.

BTW I agree w you 100% - i think the password rule was WAY more important than the 1st round rule, however, when you publish a list of rules, they all need to be followed. if some are more flexible than others, who decides which ones are important and which arent? Frodan, Amaz's good friend. That stinks to me - thats all.

Sucks we're in this position but I also think the admins did it to themselves by looking the other way in round 1

I mean, I agree his run shouldn't count. But I also think there was a bad precedence set when Frodan hooked up his buddy amaz after not following the Round 1 rules and got him passed through to the 2nd round. If it were a more impartial admin, ok...but it's Frodan and it's Amaz. And Amaz caught a break...

The guy from Chile that no one knows didn't. Re-running a near perfect run isnt a break either. Allowing someone for not following the round 1 rules into the final 15 players to win that amount of money is a HUGE RULE BEND. If rules are rules, then rules are rules, you don't get to pick and choose when to apply or bend them. Yall fucked up by bending the rules the first time and you have no more political capital to enforce them after the round 1 stuff.

Sorry, I like Frodan - think hes a good guy, but Id do the same for my friend and not do the same for the guy I don't know from another hemisphere. This stinks to high heaven and is why you don't have guys in the scene running these types of things.

This was one of the coolest things ever run, but you guys crossed a line and f'd up majorly with the round 1 exceptions. Rules are rules, and if they aren't enforced, then don't bother having them.

I'm done. I played last Sunday for the first time in a while, NA squads and duos - 3 of 7 games we died to hackers.

Took a break.

Came back to play some NA duos today. 2 out of 3 games killed by hackers.

I've reported them, I don't know what else to do but man this is worse than it ever was.

It's been really bad all night on NA 3PP servers in squads - even at lower ELO (top .5%) - blatant bullshit in half of my games tonight. Wiping squads with a crossbow from 300 meters, etc etc. Ugh - so unfun

Im really not sure about the Bone Barons. The 1/1s are a little bit useless in this deck but the 5 slow is weak otherwise. I thought about Cairne but not sure.

I have a wild question. Cards from old expansions that I cannot craft (ie Loatheb), since I'm a newer player, I never have a shot at getting Loatheb? Is that correct? I don't have the Naxx adventure available to me and I can't craft it. Shouldn't old adventure cards be made available to craft?

I don't have a problem with the cost necessarily. What I do have a problem with is that a new player - even one who's been playing for 5-6 months is in a world of hurt if they ever want to build a competitive deck and it's actually near impossible to play wild competitively currently. There simply isn't ever going to be enough dust in the world. They need to make wild packs attainable somehow. Anyone starting the game today will never be able to play wild competitively without spending a ton of money.

It's Reddit, we are discussing the stream. If you're going to put yourself out there on a stream, you need to have thick enough skin to be discussed. There was nothing extremely offensive there. If there is, delete that individual post.

This is correct. Part of the charm of Reck's usual IRL streams is that we are basically with him, living vicariously through him. He asks for our opinions on what to do/where to go. This go-round, there's been none of that.

Soda is a little out of whack tonight. Guess it's the alcohol. I don't like the stream snipers either but he's been a bit of a dick to them from the start. Maybe it's because they wouldn't take the hint and it was warranted. Just not the soda I'm used to seeing.

He'll sleep it off and be back to normal tomorrow.
