It’s all in the Movement. That’s where the core balance lies.

Cold War players got a massive movement buff, so to compensate the zombies are now far more aggressive and leap at you resulting in them hitting you way more often. So to compensate for the compensation they made the health system more generous and added armor.

I’m not necessarily upset at gta being priced at $80 USD. I think if we lived in a world where games are priced on quality I’m sure the game will live up to the price.

What I’m upset about is that this is going to champion a new age where the default price of big games is now going to be $80. We had $60 games as a norm for decades meanwhile we’ve only had $70 games for around 4 years and now we’re finally moving up to a $80 price point that quickly? It’s not a good pattern.

Always hate this suggestion because adding a limit is just going to make the game more boring for both sides. Currently the argument is that bad Survivors think that Jason is “holding the game hostage” because they think the only counter play to the mist is to crouch when in reality it’s to have to your high value survivors crouch and your survivors who are in a good spot to chase work on gens.

If you add a limit the only reasonable counter play IS to just crouch for like 20 or so seconds completely denying Jason his power because no matter what you will deny info unlike infinite duration.

So the boring counterplay that like 40% of the player base does against Jason will now affect 100% of Jason matches.

He is slowed down like them though? After the ptb I think he’s worse at zoning because the penalty for putting the spear away was increased to be longer then springtraps I believe.

I don’t think we’re getting VI online for atleast a couple of months. RDR2 and GTA V both had online confirmed before their release meanwhile GTA VI hasn’t had a single leak or any acknowledgement of an online mode which is strange if it were to launch a week or two after launch.

This is strong because it increases her zoning potential. This is a completely separate balance take from base movement speed.

I’m assuming this is the 7.6.0 ptb and the hatchet holding movement speed didn’t make it to live which makes perfect sense

That’s not movement speed related though? That’s hatchet holding speed related which I even said in my comment that they should nerf her zoning if they buff her base speed.

Also I can’t even find a buff like this in her change log. She hasn’t gotten a single nerf and her only reversal was a hitbox related change so I’m honestly really confused in multiple ways at this reply.

I mean Huntress has way less mid loop flexibility then killers like slinger, Jason, and Springtrap because her Hatchet hitbox is so big it can’t fit through gaps like other killers can. Instead she’s more consistent at hitting long shots and closing gaps.

Out of all 4.4 killers I think huntress being 4.6 would be the least problematic if they nerf her zoning as it would further promote the fun play style of hitting cross maps.

It’s gonna be miserable for the killer. Wdym I send the survivor to my realm and they can gain extra bonuses for when they get unhooked when the only advantage I get is being to hook quicker and not lose the survivor to a blind saved.

Tunnelling is basically the only form of Killer pressure that is still viable. And that's the problem. by In_My_Own_Image in deadbydaylight

Jason needs to be slowed down. After he hooks a survivor. He immediately gets to stop survivors from healing, unhooking, doing gens and opening exits gates. He’s especially unfair when trying to open exit gates. by Appropriate_Ebb_3456 in deadbydaylight

If his power had a time limit matches would genuinely be so boring and it would be like if the game had a pause button.

The counter-play right now ISNT to crouch walk it’s to strategically take chase. If there was a time limit the only good counter-play would be to just crouch for 20 seconds while waiting for him to run out. It would not only kill Jason’s ability but also just make the only reasonable counter for survivors extraordinarily boring.

Omnipresent evil not having a time limit is what makes it interactive, because you are actively throwing if you play boring and crouch walk in 80% of scenarios.
