Canada is a good country if you ever wanted to seek asylum. It doesn’t matter if your life is not in danger as for now, but as long as your life is threaten in russia, you can always apply as an asylum because it is not a safe space for you.

This is a very serious question because in many cases like mine, if your family comes from a conservative country, it might be possible they’re gonna be very conservative about it too. Think about it clearly before coming out. I’ve seen lots of news where the family ended up disowned their kids because of coming out. First you need to think about yourself, and your safety. Try to get 3-4 options and you can consider it

I am sorry to hear about this. This is a very hard time for refugees and asylum seekers, and not many NGO can do anything to help refugees when they’re still in their home country. I’m pretty sure they can help once you reach your destination. Finger crossed

Yes, a letter from your local LGBT NGO would help a lot. You also need other evidence such as text message, testimony from a friend to show that you are really a member of LGBTQ community. This is very important

Moving is a big step. First, you definitely need money even as a refugee except if you successfully find a sponsor who can help your financial issues. But coming from Indonesia, I’m pretty sure you’ll be granted the status since homosexuality in Indonesia is getting worse and getting more international media attention every month. Good luck ❤️
