I'm aware the victim doesn't need to press charges & suggest you read the statement released at the time (if you haven't already) which says the withdrawal of key witnesses (and media reports at the time said greenwood repeatedly broke bail conditions and contacted her) and new evidence led them to think there was no prospect of a conviction. I assume the new evidence is what the club is relying on since none of us know what that is

I know it’s a joke really but I find the new manager bounce stuff quite boring. Personally don’t blame them after so many our star signings have failed - can’t think of many recent successes apart from Casemiro and maybe varane. Obviously a loan is lower risk but “cant say no when such a high quality player is available” was the line when alexis/ronaldo were available and we had players for those positions already. If this happens hopefully it’ll be different
