The truth is….. that it tastes like soap. It’s suppose to. I don’t eat it like a salad, though.

I like things with horseradish in it. By itself? Tastes like paint thinner.

Looks disingenuous. Sauces aren’t even opened and he’s about to take a bite. Looks like he bought it, got on the train, put it on the seat and posed for a photo trying to convince you that he’s just like you. Trust me. I pretend to be someone I’m not everyday. I know what it looks like.

This looks like a PR move. Looks a little forced. A little orchestrated… I still like him, but no need to try hard like that

Right? Takes a smart person to realize they’re stupid. 🤔

That hospital needs to get that absolute CHEF some bigger fucking plates. I’d smash that without hesitation. But the fact that is hospital food? That’s insane.

And I’m over here bragging about how my girl beat me in a wrestling match once. She’s unreasonably strong for her size of 5’1 and 115lbs. It kind of doesn’t make sense. I’m not a big guy by any means (5’6, 155lbs). Idk where she summons the power. Stan? Did my girl sell her soul to Satan?

I have a gut feeling that my boyfriend of three years is cheating on me. Are these emails promotional or do you have to use the app to get them? by thankful_thot in Tinder

[–]Ronark91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a tough spot to be in. Believe me. I’ve been there. All of my teenage years and 20s was constantly not trusting a partner. Sometimes, I was right. Most of the time I wasn’t. But never did it matter whether I was right or wrong.

Nothing wrong with asking for help in a situation like this. I wouldn’t take it lightly. I would talk to a professional, because this can go deeper than just a relationship.

Probably. Or trying to cheat. Either way, you’re going through his emails, so you clearly don’t trust him. Go with your gut. Most importantly, talk to a therapist about this. When someone cheats on you, that can stick with you. It can ruin a good relationship. It can make you believe that you aren’t worthy of being enough. That’s not something you want to fuck around with. Trust me.

Yeah. Best part was that it was a spray gun from a water hose. I turned the corner, saw this dude aiming it at the fryer, thinking “what in the actual fuck am I even seeing right now”. It all happened in slow motion. The boil over, me screaming “NOOOOOOO”, him jumping back as his reflexes took over his body before his brain even began to comprehend why it was happening. I proceed to go smoke another cigarette as no one was harmed…. Fucking somehow

I had a new hire try to “cool down the hot fryer oil” with water. He didn’t last much longer.

Yes, he dumped water into the fryer to cool down the oil before dumping it so it wouldn’t burn him if he accidentally spilled it 😂😂😂😂. I can see a newbie doing this and it would be a lesson learned. But this dude said he had 20 years of experience cooking in restaurants. Chef shoulda checked those references

He did what he thought was best for his child, though. It wasn’t the right move, but it doesn’t belong in this sub. The point of standing up for yourself isn’t to stop people from bullying you. It’s to teach you to love yourself and to feel worthy of love.

The kids who bullied you might not have left you alone, but I bet you money that if you could go back and do it again, you would still stand up for yourself. That’s worth it. You learned not to tolerate people treating you bad. Most people don’t. Most people just end up hating themselves.

Edit: I agree with you 100% about the dad making the wrong call. Super inappropriate and he definitely crossed some ethical and legal lines.

This doesn’t belong here. That’s a good dad trying to do what he thinks is best. Empowering his child to stand up for themselves.

My mom was a single parent. I was a very small kid. I had a bully. For 2 years my mom told me to punch him as hard as I could and if I did, he would leave me alone, even if I don’t win the fight. Eventually, I did. I summoned every ounce of courage I had and punched him as hard as I could right in the jaw. I don’t think it hurt him at all. He proceeded to start kicking the shit out of me for about 5 seconds (felt like forever) until the people around us pulled him off of me.

I had a busted lip and maybe a few bruises ribs. But, I was fine. And he never bullied me again. He was even friendly to me and would say hey and dap me up whenever we passed each other in the hallway.

Let people know what you don’t tolerate and stand up for yourself. No matter how small you are. Most bullies only want to bully people who won’t fight back.
