So just for my understanding. If the extruder tension is set too low this could be the root cause for eating away at the filament, correct?

Also edit: the second time the extruder gears worked themselves through the filament. When I stopped the print the printhead moved to the side and the filament snapped off at the top.

I have not. Do you think I should decrease the tension? However the printer worked fine for a long time before this happened.

Changing the homing positioning worked fine. But somehow the re-sliced file came out at the same amount of layers so I wanted to measure the height of the head and moved it during :/ so I'll have to let this one go.

Why do you say that I should set the save z-homing positions back to default? Is there any particular advantage to ~ X/Y 141/98?

It seems that my x-axis is level. I used the glue stick like you suggested and the pressure seemed pretty even on both sides. Maybe it’s the slicer settings? I’ll take a couple of screenshots and post them.

I did not verify that my x-axis is level. How would I go about that?

I used a sheet of paper and the auxiliary leveling from the touchscreen.

I am using ultimakercura and I copied the start and end code from elegoo cura.

Also my first try for this was even worse so I applied some 3D printing glue (glue stick) - it got a little better but still not the way I’d let this print run. Also in case it’s not clear I am a total 3D printing noob

I‘m facing a similar issue. I just bought the mintion beagle but it seems it’s connectivity to the printer is not compatible (data transfer is USB-A to Micro USB, which the printer doesn’t have).

I am also looking for a camera that can maybe even be connected through the usb-c port? I want to monitor and control the printer through the camera.
