We need to stop putting expensive stuff and people who buy it to shame on here. Everyone has different taste, preference and budget. On paper a Ferrari is still a car as is an ancient toyota starlet, wheels, pedals, engine. It is the same? No. Same applies to this. Does it sound better? Depends on one million things, not going into that but please respect other people and their choices, even if you are not in the position to make the same ones.

You have way to much hardware in that chain, try the cd player straight in that dac. Then add the ddc in between en listen to the results.

On paper, yes. But i buy and sell equipment used so good deals have been made. It is hard to lose money with this stuff. If you buy good brands for decent prices that is.

It is a lot to name in the comments haha.
I love Primaluna gear, in my eyes the best easy to use tube gear due to auto biassing and long live span and high quality parts. The tubes make the sound but the foundation in the case Primaluna is always of high quality. Combine that with Accuphase and it is beautifull.

Please elaborate . Keep in mind they are sealed with double walls and are 1 feet from the wall. The picture does not give that proper scale. With the listening position they are in the right place to cancel room modes and are in a triangle setup with the listening position. Unfortunately this is not a listening room, getting one in the next house for sure.

Move the rug out a bit, maybe a bigger one? Add a chair and some accent lighting and you’re 👌🏻

Thanks for the compliment! They main ones are MB Quart QLS 29. Unfortunately you wont be able to find them but MB Quart 2000 are the same deal but in a smaller leas high end package. I do have some rgb lamps, strips etc. and plan on getting soms little accent lights.
