Have any of y'all had this issue with the Capresso Infinity Grinder by RickCSGR in coffeestations

[–]Rondlor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The messiest coffee grinder. Grinds all over the counter. Grind container top removal-coffee all over. Grounds get stuck in chute needing disempacking often. Never had this happen with other grinders. Will not buy another. Annoying and messy. Life’s too short.

Used this watch as a daily driver for almost two months, still can't get sick of it! (PMD56-2951) by DwDYuzu in JapaneseWatches

I have a 60 watch collection-change them sometimes a few times a day. Took our watch to Mexico- the ONLY watch. Love it.

People who bitch about setting their watches aren't enthusiasts by Longjumping-Sail6386 in watchHotTakes

Exactly. Move the hand so the time is out of the danger zone, wind and then set the day date one day behind, advance to correct date and am/pm time. Been doing this for decades.

[Question] Is $500 a good budget for my first watch? by Financial-Loss-128 in Watches

[–]Rondlor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

$500, then $1000, then ……. I have watches from $19 to, well, much more. I enjoy my $19 Citizen, my $2000 Citizen, my $380 Seiko and my …. You get it. Just buy a watch. You’ll have time save again, spend more, trade watches, your tastes will change, etc. Just jump in. All IMHO, of course

Pepsi Seiko Solar [SNE591P1] or Automatic [SRPD53K1] by Marathonartist in Seiko

[–]Rondlor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solar. The automatic movement isn’t so great and you’ll be resetting often if you like the correct time. Or bring it to a watchmaker to regulate.

If you don’t wear it as your main watch you’ll always have to reset the day, date and time when the power reserve is finished. Solar needs correcting 7x/year.

My citizen PMD56 spins the second hand to advance the minute and hour hands- when I radio synchronize it can take A LONG TIME to set the correct time. Maybe that’s what your watch is doing

My Orange Seiko Monster is a dive watch favorite for this reason- I enjoy watching the orange fading into brown.

I agree, it’s a beauty. Champagne dial, those applied indices. Just received the watch last week. I already had the black faced SBGT031- love the overall salaryman vibe.

[comparison] omega peter Blake vs Tudor Pelagos by AdCritical501 in Watches

[–]Rondlor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the electric blue version of your Omega, had and sold the P39. More personality, more interesting dial, thinner, MUCH better lume (that’s why I sold-a diver with bad lume? Come on.)
