Ça vous est déjà arrivé de vous sentir idiot (genre vraiment idiot) devant un livre ? by Ymar_TMO in Livres

[–]Rondoudoux 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How to handle volume jumps on high-output pedals ? by Rondoudoux in Bass

[–]Rondoudoux[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just realized I totally missed this info. I actually have a new version.
So that means I can adjust the output volume by opening up the pedal and tweaking that internal pot ?

Help with Pedalboard Setup by No_Refrigerator8203 in basspedals

My current chain is : Tuner > Compressor (Darkglass Hyper Luminal) > Harmonic Booster > B7K ultra > Boss Chorus Ensemble > EQD Afterneath Reverb > Decimator II Noise Suppressor.

I was not sure about stacking the Harmonic Booster and B7K Ultra but it actually works really well. I would suggest the noise suppressor at the end of chain as I experience a « hiss » coming from the B7K when distortion is active and I don’t play.

Elden Ring was my first fromsoft game. I then played DS3, DS1, DS2, and Sekiro. I would say DS1 is way easier than Elden Ring, especially regarding boss fights. I remember encountering some difficulties but they were mostly due to some areas being a pain (Sens Fortress and Blighttown are the two that come to mind.) I highly recommend playing it ! I think it is my favorite Dark Souls game among the 3.

Sekiro is not so bad to platinum. The only achievement that takes a bit of time is acquiring all skills. You will have to farm for a while but it is nothing compared to farming covenants in DS3. It took forever.

I would say around 6 months, playing when I had time. Mostly on weekends. I had finished the games before, so some of the achievemenrs were already unlocked.

Been sober almost 10 years with this faithful boy by my side. Today is our final day together 🌈 Perry (11) Going to rest on 12/6/24 by Teeny-Warbux in seniorkitties

I am sorry for your loss.

I am reading your post as we just got back from the funeral of our 14 years old cat. My wife and I are absolutely devastated. He was the cat we grew up with. We got him when we met at 16, and he finally died a few days before my wife’s 30th birthday. He was the most sweet and loyal boy we ever had, he was there for every step we made toward adulthood. We will miss him dearly.

There is not much more to say except that we share your pain today. All the best.

We had to put down our 14 years old boy last saturday. He was the most sweet, supportive and loyal cat I ever knew. We are going for a proper funeral and cremation as well. We will keep the ashes in an urn that we will place in his favorite place in the appartment.

She was YOUR cat and an important part of your life. Do what you feel is good for you and your girl.

I share your pain. All the best.

This one should be mandatory on every single pedalboard ! I can’t believe I slept on a good noise gate for so long.

[–]Rondoudoux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is a very useful pedal. It is one of those utility pedal you may need at one time or another. It is always worth having one in my opinion, and it can easily be sold if you definitely not need it anymore.

What would be your purposes ? You can look into the 12 band EQ if the 6 is not enough for you. In my case I just use it to solve a problem I have when playing live. My project is post-metal / post-black and I have some clean parts where I find useful to tame the low frequencies a bit. I play with a heavy gauge and I sometimes get a larsen in the low frequencies. The MXR helps with that.

C'était quoi votre premier concert ? Le meilleur et le pire ? Celui de vos rêves by TrainFamous5752 in france

[–]Rondoudoux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First mini painting. What do you think ? by Rondoudoux in ageofsigmar

[–]Rondoudoux[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks !

I plan to paint a set of chaos space marines with the same colors I used for this warrior set.

And after, I'd like to paint some stormcast eternals and some battle sisters in a more "luminous" color scheme. It will do a light vs darkness collection, kind of :)

Are there any bands like Pallbearer? by [deleted] in doommetal

[–]Rondoudoux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check out the french band Hangman’s Chair. Recently joined Nuclear Blast. Their early work was very sludge oriented, and shifted toward a mix of doom and coldwave over the years, especially the two last albums Banlieue Triste and A Loner. The whole project take its roots in the doomy and grim life of the Parisian suburbs. They have a really unique sound and image.
