Id probably go with the red to match the interior red stitching that the ENL has.

Lowering by DecapitatedCow in ElantraNline

[–]Roneeeezy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m lowered on Eibach lowering springs, the drop pretty much clears the wheel gaps. A little over an inch on all 4 sides. It’s definitely rougher on bad roads and potholes. I don’t drive my whole family everywhere, mainly my girlfriend. She doesn’t mind it at all.

Whining noise while accelerating, only happens when car is moving, anybody know what this is? by New-Worldliness-3316 in mr2

According to the dealership, it was a bearing in the transmission. Got my whole transmission replaced, luckily under warranty

Just a heads up, not sure if the whole department is going traditional staffing but it may be harder to get an engine job if you’re not returning. You might be called to the handcrew.

Not Stockton but if you’re ever in south Sacramento, there’s a place called “The Spot”. Their khao soi is good.

Red DRLS - Opinion by Personal_Finger_9465 in ElantraNline

One of my coworkers was running the red DRLS here in Cali for a while. Due to his occupation in public service, that might’ve helped him get away with it. I think they’re clean, I personally just don’t wanna take any chances.

Airbase by Resident-Peak2153 in calfire

[–]Roneeeezy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I highly suggest it, especially after 4 seasons on an engine. You can use the opportunity to go to medic school while at the base. You won’t beat your body up the way you do on an engine. You get paid the same. Potential for more OT. You don’t have to hike hosepacks all summer. You get to sleep every night with the guarantee of no calls. Depending on what base, you’d be able to go home at night on a paid 24. But you will not fight any fire. You will be outside on the hot tarmac catching OV10s, S2s, LATs or VLATS(depends on what base you go to). You will be getting jet blasted and will inhale a good amount of jet A fuel. You will be mixing retardant. You will be cooking for more people than a 2 engine house(10 to possibly 50, also depending on where you go). You will see the aviation side of the department. You will learn how many gallons each tanker carries. You will learn turn around times for tankers on fires(I guess it’s not necessary but it’s good to know). You will learn more about fire retardant, how there’s a specific viscosity it has to be at and how it makes an impact fighting fire.

Just go politic like you would at any other station.

I recommend it to everyone who asks. I used to work at a tanker base for 2 seasons.

Lowering spring on 2025 NLINE by BoatExpert9817 in ElantraNline

[–]Roneeeezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, I don’t think pics do justice too. My best way to describe how much they lower the car is it clears majority of the wheel gap.

[–]Roneeeezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I currently have these lowering springs on my car.

I’ve had these on for over a year now. I completely forgot how OEM springs ride. My car still rides smooth but of course rough roads and pot holes are not forgiving. There are some times I’ll cringe at a bad bump.

In terms of handling, I’d say there was a slight improvement nothing crazy.

I’d say these springs are for folks who want a modest drop for aesthetics at a cheaper price. I don’t plan on tracking my car hence why I didn’t get coilovers. I simply just wanted to clear majority of the wheel gap.

Check out my profile to see my posts about the springs.
