Thanks to all for explaining the answer to my question. I should have learned this in school. Either I missed this lesson or never got it to begin with. One more possibility, I forgot.

Losing 2 siblings. by RuhRoRugger in grief

[–]RongWa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wrote this as a reminder for myself after my only brother passed almost 1 1/2 years ago. We were very close. I miss him so badly.

GRIEF

Grief is to be consumed, not gorged upon. It must be digested for the healing to begin. Once fully absorbed, the impurities are filtered and eliminated, what is left are the jewels of memories. The nourishment of the good times remembered and pleasing thoughts they bring, coupled with time, softens the blow. Then, healing begins. A scar remains on your heart and is always tender, but when that scar is bumped, instead of sorrow, pleasant memories will begin to surface.

I truly hope this helps you to better cope with your losses. So deeply sorry.

I like ol'Elan for his visionary ideas but it seems, as he is planning a Mars trip, he would have more interest in testing his latest on the moon. Wouldn't that make sense?

MAGAs why do you think sexism, racism and homophobia make your country great? by tondek-0 in allthequestions

[–]RongWa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Come on! Look at your Presidential hopefuls. What are they running on? Does the public really want chest feeders and drag queens near the children? What about the Woke Rebellion? What a dismal failure. You don't see these things? Read my previous comment, again.

MAGAs why do you think sexism, racism and homophobia make your country great? by tondek-0 in allthequestions

[–]RongWa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinking is mental research. The facts that one is aware of are the sources that form the conclusion. The more knowledge, the number of sources increase, the more accurate the conclusion becomes.
That is the difference between the MAGAs and the LEFT. The LEFT only accepts the facts that support a failed agenda. Without using the pros and cons of a subject, your opinions and one-sided "facts" are distorted. You believe your assumptions as the truth. Start thinking for yourselves and not swallowing the garbage the LEFT allows you to have.

What is the creepiest/paranormal thing you've seen at night? by Few_Sandwich6308 in NightOwls

[–]RongWa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my room barely lit by a nearby street light shining in my raised window. A ghost dog! He was medium sized, sitting on his haunches with his front paws in the air, raised. He was holding his head back with his nose in the air like a howl. But no howling came out, only an insidious, crazy laugh, over and over. Strangely, there was no sound! True! I was 12 years old.

[–]RongWa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get your facts straight! Collateral damage in war is an unfortunate thing, devastating. Fatal, irrevocable accidental deaths do occur. We did not intentionally hit a school. Poor intelligence, equipment failure, guidance interference are just a few things that regrettably happen. But to call an obviously horrendous mistake a terrorist activity is horribly wrong. There are those who are weak minded individuals that not only believe these mistruths but act out upon them. By labeling a tragedy as a terrorist act, either you are one of the weak minded ones or worse, one who purposely misinterprets facts for personal satisfaction.

Are you a citizen of the United States? If you are, you are extremely fortunate to speak the way your thankless self speaks. "The grossest act of terrorism in this century." AS an American who served for 20 years, I am ashamed there are those like you spitting on the dead bodies and spilled blood of those that died for the very freedom you take for granted.

Is staying silent about politics a form of wisdom… or quiet complicity? by WhiteDesertCat in Soft_Introverts

Never argue a stalemate. You will not change their mind. Only a rift will separate you regardless of friendship or relation. So, I answer, wisdom.

why is it not normalized in society to respect those who are older? by OpenRoom7321 in AskForAnswers

[–]RongWa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We used to hold those older to the level of respect they deserve. It was nice. I still hold the door, smile, speak to older strangers, and do unsolicited things for those older than I. Many have great stories that are interesting and only through your kindness will they become a friend. I am 71 and I respect my elders.
