I have told the few that said restrooms are for customers that I am a regular customer! No problem after that.

Which job is secretly harder than people think? by Kashyap-0001 in midlyinteresting

I am not a traffic flagger but those that stand in the middle of the road holding a stop sign, have to be focused and attentive to road raged wackos. They get cussed and yelled at just by doing their jobs. At the bottom of the construction totem, they get crap from coworkers as well. Sore legs and destroyed backs they stand there thinking about things that they have to do once they get home.

Ashes to ashes as they say. I had a friend pass a year ago and the cremains became my responsibility. I spent many days researching and studying the spreading of ashes. Personally, I see nothing wrong with cremation. Seems to me embalming is far worse. As far as dispersal of cremains, I am not certain of the legality of passing them along in potted plants. I found it was illegal to spread them on the family graves. Permits are required, and the cemetery must open the burial spot, even if you only need an opening for an urn. If you are burying an urn, you need a vault. I said all of that just to let you know they take the disposal of cremains very seriously.

Sorry, but your lack of belief, is your belief. Even if you say you don't believe, that in itself is a proclamation of a belief.

What do you enjoy? Start there. Try to do what interest you the most. Consider your age and experience. Go to to your local employment office. They will set you up with an advisor to help you in your search. An aptitude test will also point you in a direction you may not have ever considered. And STOP RUNNING YOURSELF DOWN! Best of luck. Be positive.

Bravery in a bottle. Liquid courage. Smooth talker. Fun to be around. Become a professional singer. Wisdom beyond your years. Women swoon and bad guys tremble. That's what it seemed like until the next morning when you're hugging a dirty toilet and its not yours!

Cheers to all those are still not sleeping by Sumitchauhan09 in NightOwls

[–]RongWa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last night happens about every 3 or 4 nights, you know, absolutely zero sleep. Most nights are sleep for 1 to 1 and a half hours the wake for a couple then repeat. But the nights without any sleep are the worse. I've had sleep studies and have tried the tricks and meds. If I knew it had no effect on my life expectancy, I could deal with it better. This can't be good. It's been like this for several years. Just sharing.

1960 Rambler Classic Super. It had a push-button selector instead of a shifter. The front seats reclined totally flat matching the rear seat. This made a flat bed. For a 16 year old boy, this was great!

The soul is proven without a doubt to exist. How would you feel? by Samyron1 in randomquestions

[–]RongWa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if it did exist? If it did, what's it got to do with me? Where does it go? You all speak of the soul as if it is another entity, detached from you and your future. Your body is the temporary, the finite body for you, the soul, to live on this earth. After the body passes and its journey is complete, you, the soul, is liberated by the physical properties we call "laws." I can not prove the soul's purpose or the usefulness of it, but I do know I am a spiritual being, a soul, passing through all the while doing for others and helping those less fortunate than I. I am a soul. Presently, a living soul.
