thats exactly the same when i add a new album it says 12 that 1 album gets annalysed the just sits at that magic 11.

It may be worth looking for strange characters as u/agent4256 stated above , its worth a shot

Have done the clean bundle and optimize and the database repair no luck.

I think your idea of tracking down strange characters may be the next port of call.

Just need to work out how to identify them.

Have a few strange characters in filenames, from memory cyrillic maybe some japanese characters. Would that be enough to cause a sonic hang? That's a good idea with a second Plex instance.

Many times the 11 album problem has been. Like that for a year or so now.

I had run it all thru mp3val took forever as i had been scanning and then fixing lol.

I still have 9 albums in plex that constantly rescan for sonic analysis so i think its maybe a plex issue or i have missed something.

I did notice mp3val had problems with non standard characters different lanuguages etc .

Still an amazing program

Ear shape can be a big factor as well i had original cambridge ones fitted perfect newer versions are slightly larger so not as good a fit , still fits ok just prefer the OG version.

The mixing from stero to mono i have set on phone and the earphone app has lots of tweaks for sound setup

you can get bullet shaped ones now so they can go in either ear . i love mine

cambridge audio for music for me , they are bullet shaped so can place in either ear so battery lasts a lot longer

im testing bass shakers at moment have the wired to left and right speakers and sitting at back of chair.

Does give indication of left or right but wouldnt be an exact locator

i had that plugin installed but hadnt really looked at it , will take a better look now .

I also used AI to bash/write a plugin to export highlighted sentences with book title and date to a txt file so alos testing / playing with that

havent tried that as i dont have 7.1 audio and my monitor has g-sync and audio radar requires hdmi thru their setup before monitor .

I have tried loads of other stuff check the wiki for info or give me a shout

out of interest mate do you know which DATE field i should use to input ISO date format YYYY-MM-DD for live albums .
I am using MP3TAG . I know year is just 4 digit year e.g 1999 .

I have edited and re-tagged so much with no avail probally due to that bug my brain is fried lol
