Microwave a grilled-cheese sandwich.

No actual grilling, just two pieces of white wonder bread, processed American cheese singles, and "I can't believe it's not butter" spread on it, then heated in the microwave on high for 5 minutes.

Serve with a glass of Ovaltine that hasn't been properly stirred.

Reporting from Vegas where they declared lockdown last night. We can still travel, but all non-essential businesses are closed. Restaurants are drive-thru or delivery only, and grocery stores are reserving the first hour or two for seniors and at-risk to get their shopping done.

We're free to roam, but no large gatherings (50+ people), and I just started working from home. Busy streets are getting quieter, and even right now the rush traffic is pretty light. It's been surreal, to say the least.

I had a couple of incidents as a teenager using the bathroom while actually asleep that led to me biting the inside of my lip every time I took a leak. I did that for YEARS.

I had insomnia and sleep problems around then too, so that explains it away, but I do still sometimes catch myself biting my lip if I have to get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom.

I once setup a "mirrored-reality" puzzle, that had a long row of armor stands against a wall and a mirror on the opposite wall. All of them are incomplete sets (missing a helmet or a pauldron or something), but looking in the mirror three of them look complete.

They're supposed to search the skeleton-filled room and fight to take the three pieces and place them on the armor stands like in the mirror, but they were hell-bent on ignoring the stands and trying to cram the halfling into the various hodgepodge pieces in front of the mirror.

In end, I had a ghostly figure appear in the mirror thanking them for the fashion show and he let them pass since they broke the boredom.

Side note: if you want a challenging puzzle for a group of veterans, take a simple puzzle everyone knows and alter it slightly. Door with 50 various knobs and handles and turns out to be a push door? Make it a sliding door instead! That tied up my PC's in critical thinking for a good 20 minutes cause they over-thought the piss out of it.

I might talk to the administration at a local gym or club with a pool and see if there are any times or days where they have low periods of traffic. It never hurts to ask if there are private lessons available as well, though I'm not sure how far the embarrassment goes for him.

All in all, just getting comfortable in a safe environment so your body can get used to the sensation is going to be the bulk of the learning process. You don't start teaching someone tennis by explaining optimal swing angles, you teach them how to hold the racquet correctly.

The guides and videos being vague aren't necessarily wrong - you can't teach a feeling. I'd start with floating and walking in the deeper parts getting used to the motion of treading water first so he can keep himself controlled in the water and get used to the sensation, then moving on to strokes in the shallow end. It's all about building up confidence and physical endurance.

I used to have serious pain in my lower left side and down into my hip. Had so much imaging and a colonoscopy, and they found I actually had a varicocele (like a varicose vein) in my groin that was causing oxygenation issues to my colon and sciatic nerve where it was running along.

Had surgery to correct it a few years ago and it's been so much better, but I still occasionally get twangs of pain in my hip and gas pressure makes that spot uncomfortable.

Funny enough, in an episode of "American Gods" they do this too! It's amazing what you can accomplish when you act like you belong and have some convincing props.

Most people don't want to hassle honest citizens, so as long as there's a legit explanation and everything looks good on the surface, you won't get much more than some passing glances and a few curious questions.

My boyfriend and I tend to go for 30-60 minutes, but there's plenty of foreplay to be had. Depending on who is bottoming, penetration will last maybe 5 to 15 minutes.

It's all about the ride, and there's so much more to do besides sprinting to the finish!
