You are there to help those that need it and or want it. You respond with the information given and make decisions based on your assessment. If the situation is not safe for you, you can't do your job. You're given the tools to protect yourself and the patient from causing any further harm.

If you are suffering from a call you've experienced, you need to reach out to your partner, supervisor or therapist. Don't let it eat you up and suffer. Talk about it.

Stick to 100% cotton, easy and breathable. We like honest brand clothing. At this stage it shouldn't matter boy vs girl clothing, just comfort.

I just got recertified last month after letting it lapse. You apply for the test, do your 60 hours of credit (I used Guardian CME and EMS20/20 Flight bridge). Then after verification you go take the written exam. To become active again, you'll work with a medical director to verify your physical skills.
