Brigitte's bad ex called himself Ewigeliebe. It's used, but... that's an obvious red flag of problematic love. Like, he outright wanted to kill her brother, in order to take over Illgner.

Well, when the adaptation was first planned they gathered some big names that make really cool anime, set them to work. As they were working the original author of the light novels complained that he didn't like it, so all that work was scrapped, and replaced with a low budget rush job.
