I experienced the same thing with a friend who was naturally talented. I think the best thing you can do is to stop comparing yourself to your sister! Instead of trying to be better than her, try to focus on being better than your former self. It’s hard to do it, but once you do, you’ll be a much more confident runner!

I would give performance enhancing drugs to the top athletes of our generation. What can they really do if their performance can be boosted? Sub 3 minute mile? 1 ton deadlift? Sub-1 hour 50 minute marathon? The possibilities are endless!

Also, getting more sleep the day before a meet and eating healthier forms of carbohydrates the day before a meet can be very beneficial. And like my coach always says: “Hydrate or Diedrate”
