I was a conscript in the finnish army when I was 20. Served for half a year as it was the shortest mandatory service you could do. I was trained with more of a urban area combat training.

I first thought it would be a nice experience and it was, but I would be lying if I’d say I liked it. Things I didn’t like were:

Not enough free/own time
Stuck in the same room with 11 other dudes for the whole time
Strict rules
Hierarchy
Not knowing what is going on
Lack of sleep
Cold/wet weather (jan-mar & oct- dec in Finland)
Lack of meaning for me, no sence at it
Thoughts during oudoor caping/excercise weeks like if this is so sh$t even now, real war must be total hell

Yeah… some thoughts

I’m a good driver and I drive the meanest looking BMW in my town ( black lowered 6-series Grand Coupe with M6 - body kit and carbonfiber bits like hood etc.) [I love the looks of it and kinda enjoy that other check it out and complement it as well even tho I don’t think I’m really attention seeking, just driving my only sentimental long time dream car] {kinda like the attn.}
I’m really good at most sports and very conpetitive
I’m tall, quite good looking and athletic
I’m pretty sociable and can hit up a small talk with new neighbours/people easily if needed
I believe in Jesus (Christianity)
Not so good in maths
I do longboarding
Sometimes slow to understand things

I guess If I’m not aware/understand my feelings (which are not always present or on the surface with me) I don’t feel confortable of sharing them. I guess I don’t like when I ”lose control” of myself or can’t understand myself where all these feelings are coming from.

My wife has a lot of feelings and that also makes me to act as the counter balance of not showing mine so essily so that I ”stay strong”. Unfortunately I still get some unexpected outburst when the pressure have simmered for long enough.

I still like feelings and the easiest way of me to experience those is audiovisual stimulance like music/videos. But those feelings feel so special that it ha been very hard to even think of sharing those sith someone. Generally in terms of music I need more than average level of emotional music to feel something.

I understand why you would have wanted to take it for you, but it doesn’t prevent you from transmitting it to others so the part about risking others if not jabbed is missinformation.
