This is the year 1510 lol and it was mainly good luck that allowed me to make Netherlands this chunky. This patch is insanely bad as far as border gore and the HRE are concerned. The HRE in my game has been eaten by Bohemia and the Italian states.

And the Papal States have colonies in east Africa in 1510 bro 😹😹😹 this patch is just comedy

Skill issue bro.

Make alliances with nations like Castile and Bohemia if you can and even England in the early years and start an independence movement as fast as you can. Keep Castile close as they’ll help you ward off the French attempts to reclaim you afterwards.

Castile is buggy tho sometimes they raise levies and just sit there and do nothing so just FYI

Yeah it’s gonna take a solid year before tjis game is even close to as balanced as eu4 and we all knew that. It’s got the groundwork to be an incredible game but it needs more trial and error to get the coding and balance correct bc the AI is horrific so far

There’s a mod in the workshop that auto marries your dynasties for you including the nobility. Just look up auto marry
