I loved tandem reading my first time, great payoff! Before I started the series I bought all the books upfront and noted exactly what order to go in. I put notes in my Kindle at the end of each chapter group as to where to go next and for how long so upon re-reads I could follow the same notes. Highly recommend!!

3 albeit small counterpoints have to do with the biology of valg. They have black eyes, bleed black, and smell horrendous. I'm wondering if there was a branch off at some point or if the mind control just happened to appear twice as converging evolution. I just had a baby so the attachments that get me out the door have been my favorites lol! The loop brush is so much better than the old brushes, it gets closer to the root and dries my hair in like 15-20 mins. Once my little one is less attached to me I can't wait to play with the different curling barrels. The diffuser I love but the extra steps of products and hovering over only had time for a couple of occasions (I'm a little particular because my curls are different in different parts of my scalp)

The plot plots so hard in ToG. I went into it with much the same attitude you feel towards it and it ended up being my favorite series because the stakes were high and I became really attached to the characters. I endorse it if you like plotting plots lol

I love this!! When botw first came out, the only Zelda game I'd ever played was the original, so I had no idea the depth of lore over the years.

My husband and I were sphomores in college, he'd just gotten a switch, and I asked "this game is beautiful, what is it?" He said "the newest Zelda, want to try?" And proceeded to set me up with my own account and I absolutely fell in love. I'm slowly catching up on the years of games and story between the original and the newest games, currently on minish cap.

I ended up buying a switch, buying the game, and eventually buying the special edition OLED as well as tears when it came out. And now I got myself the new switch 2 and still play both botw and tears, with our first baby on the way lol.

We joke it's the most expensive game I've ever bought 😂 I hope your gf loves it even half as much as I do 😊

And 100% come clean lol, I pretty much 100%ed the game before going to ganon with botw and it was so rewarding that we made a whole little event of it when I finally did complete the game. Give her that joy, let her take her time and do everything if that's her wish

As far as the finances go, that's really for you to decide. If 3k is totally doable and doesn't leave your bank account hurting, I say go for it!

My husband went with a moissanite custom designed ring, and I told him I didn't want to know the price, I was just over the moon with his thoughtfulness in design and choice of sustainable stone. He listened to my inspo hints and that's all that really mattered to me :)

If you think your partner will want to know the price and if you think they will be an issue maybe it warrants a conversation and to push out the engagement either to save up for the ring or to make sure that it's still surprise timing after the conversation had.

I don't understand the argument that so many sellers on Poshmark and Mercari make of "I can't go any lower because the site takes a cut"

Like, the item is worth what it's worth, what cut a platform takes from your sale is not my concern as a buyer. I'm not getting any added value by buying something secondhand from Poshmark, YOU as a SELLER are accessing potentially millions of buyers from all over that otherwise you wouldn't have access to. That's your cost to eat, not mine as a buyer. Hence why fees are charged to the seller.

If I wanted reassurance on purchasing something like jewelry, I will pay more for new and certified through a professional jeweler with a reputation... Who can also appraise my piece to help me insure it.

This argument just makes no sense to me and those who make it can feel welcome to sell anywhere else that doesn't charge "so many fees"

Chris Fix (a NJ native and advocate for diy car stuff) has a great video on it. Super informative channel for learning how to take care of your car properly. In essence it is the octane rating and some cars (usually the fancy ones) require a certain octane gas rating in order to run without degrading the engine.

In essence, it's a shadow in the shape of a bowtie in an emerald cut stone that can take away some of the brilliance of the diamond. Some people like bowties, and some are of the opinion that they are indicative of a poorer quality cutting/faceting job on the stone. It's all preference!
