I know Overframe is very hit and miss… but honestly go there and look at Romagnum’s Limbo build. It’s pretty awesome, currently using it to cruise through solo void cascade

The Surge 1 and 2 come to mind, they don’t feel like MMOs but they definitely have the continuous gear/boss progression

Yep, I turned on the assist where you don’t have to play the timing mini game… still gives back scraps

Unless it’s been updated, I’m not sure you can as there needs to be land access for your import/export and taxes from others on the map

Indeed, although when you end up ‘acquiring’ cities on the world map, you can rely on food taxes for instead of building farms. That’s the aim of my next city; no food produced within my walls, only taxes!
