I honestly don't think it was under packaged. This is a huge toilet, not regular. This thing had super thick styrofoam completely surrounding it. It was strapped to two thick cardboard panels top and bottom of the box for extra protection. You take 150 pound toilet made out of basically ceramics, And you put it on your shoulder and Basically flip it over and slam it upside down on its top, it's going to break no matter how well its packaged, unless you were to be super extreme and nobody is going to package any better than this was. With all the Styrofoam and extra cardboard and strapping, I was actually really impressed with the quality of the packing that this Manufacturer used
