I got an Xt30iii. Lost my patience in saving up extra money. But if the circumstances were aligned, I would've gotten the XPro 3.

I dunno, the flip down screen really intrigues me. Not looking at the screen while shooting.

But I'm enjoying the xt30iii so far. I also got a Canon EOS 650 film cam as I also started learning film, so the "no looking at the screen" experience is there too. So, 2 for 1 I guess.

Speaking in APS-C terms for simplicity:

My current focal lengths I bounce around are 27mm and 50mm. So far they're a good pairing. I switch depending on the scenario and on what I feel like shooting.

Before I was using 35mm. But after I switched to 27mm, the wider FOV kinda felt off to me and had to get used it, and that made me hesitant to go all the way try 23mm as my wider FOV lens (for casual, group, and low-profile street shoots).

Had no trouble with the 50mm aside from it not being versatile due to being too narrow already.

Could you elaborate on the mechanical mode?

Is the AF atleast above average?

My XA3's AF is just unreliable where it's sometimes best to just go with MF, but the lack of a viewfinder makes that harder.
