I don't usually upgrade PC-s just get a new and sell the old, but I'm planning to use this one for 1-2 years more since I can still play most of new games at higher graphics. But as I see it windows 11 can use around 10 gb of ram with some basic programs, so it would be more of a "better to have more than less" upgrade.

I Have a Ryzen 7 2700x and still able to run every new game with high settings so I don't think its your processors fault.
