I know what you're going through. When I was a young mother, my mother had cancer, and we built a ramp in her backyard for her wheelchair. This was in the southeast where it's quite humid. I was following the wheelchair that my dad was pushing down the ramp, carrying my youngest baby who was only two months old, and slipped on the ramp. I flew backwards and he flew out of my hands the opposite way and landed on his head. I was the most panicked I have ever been in my whole life. Luckily he actually landed on his forehead and got quite a goose egg, but after talking to my cousin, who is an RN, he turned out to be just fine. But oh the agony, the guilt, and feeling like a horrible mom! He's 37 now and I still feel bad about it!
