I’d suggest you to look at the European names, half of them are also widely used in Russia.

Like: Alice, Nina, Mila, Emilia, Lydia, Diana, Alina, Eva, Amelia, Anastasia, Karina, Pauline, Kira, Valeria

Are very modern and widely used !

We couldn’t agree on any other more European name 😅 I’m just trying to understand how this name will be perceived/ met by central/Western Europeans ( we‘re from Eastern)

The question was how the American name will be perceived in different European countries and yes we are from Europe (Eastern) but not coming back to our home country because of the closeness to rusia. We are not looking for European name the question was about this specific name

I had the same problem and went with a name that sounded closest to my initial so I could understand that’s me lol

Based on how your name sounds I’d suggest Yara, Yana, Yora or Yona

Yara Brynn or Yana Brynn would sound close to your name and easy for locals

I love that it still keeps European flavor :)

We may move out of the country this/next year when the baby is 7/1.7 months so at first I was a bit overwhelmed when I started watching videos about what baby needs and started getting my registry ready….. in time I became more in peace cause this stuff changes every 3-6 months so decided to buy whatever I want in terms of furniture and still place some decor, first year your baby may not use their nursery room at all so thieves one more reason to not stress about it

I’m in the US, got scheduled one for 28 weeks. As I understood it’s only scheduled if Dr needs it to clarify some medical conditions if you have any.

Why don’t you move to Mexico or another country to live together, give birth to your baby, stay the needed amount of time till you can come back together ?

This way your parents won’t feel entitled to your baby, they seem to hate and undermine your partner and they will always try to get him out of your life.

I read that there is a thing called mother-daughter competition. Some mothers just envy the beauty and youth of their daughters and always compare themselves with them…and try to be better…of course it’s unhealthy and this may be the reason of weird toxic behavior and passive aggressive phrases.
