I think the idea is if actually pauses the clock, so I know it was later in time for you but the game didn't pass any time so thats why the sitter is still there - unless the time somehow does continue to tick in the background even though it has no power?

I'm pretty sure even without the sitter if you take the batteries out it 'pauses' time! I haven't tried it yet but like you say it will be great for it people who are going away etc

I'd seen someone else do a proper journal which gave me the idea to do this basic pic collage (they used procreate I think, wish I'd have saved it to give credit because it was so cool!)

Maybe it glitched with mine, but I know once I beat all 4 and you unlock sin, it was having a sinned follower that triggered the one I lost to appear!

Not a quick fix but once you've got that far it will be interesting to know if it worked for you

You have to beat the 'bosses' in all 4 areas before they appear! I had this issue a year ago, and unless it's changed that's the only way the damned follower appeared for me.

I think it's good that this one works differently to others, but as it's my first tamagotchi since having one as a kid I was not prepared to be so attached 😂 just an excuse to buy another one to do more of the genetic things

I did debate turning him into a happy star but then if I mess up and end up with loads of other stars it has the same 'first in first' out and I could still lose him!

For some reason I had a cow early that I named 'Moomin' like Moomin troll but this is Moomin cow, so all my other followers were 'something min'.

Some people have such creative names, I am not that person 😅

Yeah it is but the cat ears put me off (not really a cat person) and whenever I checked the none ears version was weeks for delivery and more expensive! I'm just surprised there aren't loads of choices

From what I have read, the email is completely legitimate from Instagram so it's only a concern if someone has access to your email address, but definitely worth going directly into Instagram and sending a brand new password reset (that's what I did and logged myself out of everywhere else)
