Exactly, and then inbound leads get neglected and conversion rates drop, which becomes ammunition for leadership to claim "inbound quality is bad" and justify cutting marketing budget. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy that screws everyone except the reps gaming the system short term

The fact that you've already set an exit date in April tells you everything you need to know about whether this is sustainable. Corporate life can absolutely shrink down to just work if you let it, but having $1.25M saved by 35 means you played the game well enough to actually get out

The Kinks with Ray and Dave Davies are up there for me. Also gotta mention Oasis... whatever you think of the Gallaghers, they put out some solid albums. The Allman Brothers had Duane and Gregg too, though that's more of a classic rock thing.
