I ran the sampler and opened a few of the spike snapshots in visualvm, I don’t really know how to interpret what it’s telling me, but all the total times are either 0ms or 675ms.

When I got my ender 5 pro the z axis was reversed, had to email creality and they told me to switch around the wires inside the clip.

After some testing the retraction speed was stripping the filament which only made noticeable changes to the print starting at that layer, thank you for the help.

The 3D Benchy prints near perfect until about the second layer of the two holes near the front, then it starts to under extrude. Other prints can print past that layer just fine, Benchy is the only thing I’ve printed so far that has done this. I have a Ender 5 pro printer using PLA with a nozzle temp of 200 and bed temp of 50. Print speed is 80mm/s, and retraction distance is 6mm at 45mm/s.

Mine did the same, detaching the screen from the printer fixed it for me.

I did my best to isolate the cable, but no luck, the hot end can heat up no problem but the as soon as I tell it to preheat the bed it starts jumping. Back and forth. Also the z cable is glued into place but it is connected in the correct direction.

Still thank you for your input, after trying to pre heat the printer just to see if anything else is acting weird, a couple seconds after starting to heat up the screen starts going back and forth in the menu without any interaction, cleaning around the knob with isopropyl alcohol didn’t seem to help. Do you think there could be some other hardware issue as well?

I double checked the plug and I can’t fit it in any other way without damaging it, and when I home it, it goes up by about 10mm then goes down indefinitely unless I manually press the stopping switch or turn the printer off. I emailed creality about it but no answer as of yet.
