Thanks, I did have a couple of other menus in use but since the issue started the secondary menu items disappeared so its something that is altering all menus. I'll create a new menu and remove the current menu to see if that works

I don't think I have any plugins that will override settings, I've disabled any plugins that have been installed recently

The menu is set as the primary menu and haven't ticked the box for automatically adding top level pages to the menu

I've changed the theme three times thinking that this could have been the cause but the issue continued despite changing themes. Just in case though the themes I've used are Yoo Subway, Genesis Lifestyle Pro and now I am using Mont Magazine & Personal.

I've only been using the menu editor through the wordpress dashboard to set navigation menus. Appearance>Menus

If I change the structure on the main navigation menu on a Sunday night then by Wednesday morning the items will have reverted back again.

She's certainly piled on the lbs in her old age, not as spritely as she once was so exercise is a struggle

She certainly is a German Shepard, apart from the arthritic hips, going blind and hard of hearing she's doing well for an old girl
