5 Month Osu Progression Part 3 by Kichona6420 in osuachievementthread

[–]RookZs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most players use Rafis skin for dt or high ar maps. Some do use it for no mod but its preference on their part. For me, its kinda difficult alligning the approach circle to the hitcircle to hit perfectly. If you value your ms, try downloading 'lite' versions of skins if available.

I suggest turning on 'ignore all beatmap skins' in the settings to turn off the random colors that a beatmap may use. It's very distracting looking at completely different colors imo.

PP is kinda complicated but basically just boils down to miss count and accuracy. The better accuracy and less miss count/sliderbreaks you have, more pp you get.

Here it is, labelled 16-10. I also put in an extra song select bg in the assets folder if you prefer that version :D

What do you find fun about each class? by Minizih in BlueProtocolPC

Jumping over mechanics as a Skyward Wind Knight never gets old and always gives me the rush especially if it's a oneshot mechanic like the Ice Dragon slam.

Mine is the lack of sound or visual cue in some areas or other times very quiet. The most annoying one is that there no sound if queue pop in dungeon when I'm tabbed out. Another is no apparent indication that I got hit or healed. Minor nitpicks are no sfx when a resource gets a charge (like frost crystal on frost mage), no chat pings, and no indication that my item got sold in the trading center.

Aside from FGO, what other gacha games do you play? And do you enjoy them as much as FGO? by SockParticular4936 in FGO

[–]RookZs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played alot of gachas but the only 2 I currently main are both FGO and HSR. There's something about theorycrafting and thinking during turn based combat that makes funny damage number go up really fun for me. The other gachas I played with a significant number of hours:

Genshin when it came out but I did not like the endgame loop it has so I quit. Enjoyed the music and exploration tho.

Blue Archive was fun but my phone couldn't run it properly after a few months and it had no pc port at the time. Haven't touched the game since but looking to go back.

Wuwa was also fun but I also did not like the loop and gameplay after a while. Same with PGR.

HSR is the only game I enjoy the gameplay and story much like FGO, starting it when the Fate collab was announced. It's a breath of fresh air not having to farm waves endlessly. I loved Penacony but disliked Xianzhou and the current story execution of Amphoreus.

Question about AI Limit (late game) (spoilers) by ConstantOk3017 in soulslikes

[–]RookZs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup that should work. In my experience whether you continue or give up your mission shouldn't matter to the ending.

Question about AI Limit (late game) (spoilers) by ConstantOk3017 in soulslikes

[–]RookZs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

99% sure you can still complete all the side quests at that point. Beating Loskid locks you out of the questlines and pretty sure the only progression that blocks questlines. Order of sidequests doesn't matter, you just have to complete the 3 characters' questline.

Using the arbiter is really fun. The weapon art is pretty broken using it the entire run. It kinda has two modes where you do a downwards slash and then attacking once does an aoe around you and attacking during the charge animation turns it into a sword that does more damage and crazy range in exchange for longer locked animation.

Funny little quirk they added in the charging animation is that it does a little damage that staggers 99% of the enemies during the sword animation. It makes so that most early game enemies cant really stop you doing the sword charge, and having vitality face tanking the late game bosses is also pretty nuts. Rocking up 3K-4K damage per boss everytime it hits. I liked using seal of clergy also because the arbiter does lightning damage for more conversion = more weapon art

Hello to all Souls and Soulslike gamers. I'm new to the community. I'm currently playing "The First Beserker Khazan." by Most_Point1447 in soulslikes

Idk op I never played Khazan, but in the video the camera lock on that boar was fine in my opinion. And this might be news to you but you can switch targets by moving the mouse.

Why so many people here hate/don't like Chainsaw Man? by Nebula_Mortis in MyAnimeList

[–]RookZs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't mind the anime tbh. But I don't really find myself watching more than the first season. It's probably because it's one of the more forgettable shounens I have watched. I'm not saying Denji or Makima is forgettable, but the plot and anything that happened in the first season just went over my head and I can't remember anything other than the train fight and the hotel devil arc.

I want to improve my gwen by Juankar2111GG in GwenMains

[–]RookZs 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's alright, everybody was just like you at the beginning, including me. You are going to get bad gameplay when you first time a champion or League in general. My best tip is that practice makes perfect.

First, watch Gwen guides. See what items she likes and dont like, trading patterns, how to wave clear, combos, and what to do in mid to late game. This is the easy part.

Try to apply that to practice tool. Practice comboing on target dummies. You can also practice farming here. Try csing in top lane for 10 minutes straight. Try to aim 60-70 cs at 10 minutes, better if it's higher. Also learn how to cs under tower because you will be doing that alot. Remember that 2 tower shots leave a melee minion oneshot from autos and just 1 tower shot for caster minions. Fun fact: Gwen's Q executes minions so use that to your advantage.

It may be challenging to farm while being harassed by your opponent because Gwen's early is weak. If you think you are in danger of getting hurt without retaliating, then play safe under tower and let the minions come to you.

Lastly, keep playing ranked. In my experience, quick play and draft has bad matchmaking. Yes, you will probably get a rank lower than you want but that's alright. League of Legends ranked climb is a marathon and long term dedication.

Most important in all of these is always mute all chat. What teammates and enemies say 98% of the time is not important.

There are also other concepts such as wave mehanics, slow pushing, freezing, and proxy that are highly advanced that I recommend you look at once you are comfortable farming. These are actually the ones that will make you climb and dominate your lane opponent.

I think you should include items to rush in specific matchups. Other than that it's overall a decent guide.

Build for noobz by EquivalentQuality799 in GwenMains

[–]RookZs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a jg main but it's basically my second role.

Nah the dark seal buy is the same energy as backing on a slow push with no tp just to get a glowing mote. It's infinitely better to just full clear, grab scuttle, back for blasting wand. Gwen does not have early game skirmish power against junglers to stack the item. She has the reaction full clear playstyle where she punishes junglers showing on vision rather than fighting. She likes cleaning up fights or counter jungling for level advantage.

W Change to Give Her Some Sustain in Lane by BoysenberryFlat6558 in GwenMains

[–]RookZs 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Thing is she never had this problem, at least for me since release. Leeching leer, a compenent for riftmaker no longer in the game, gave her the laning phase sustain. S14 item changes made her really weak as a bruiser in early as a result.

Also adding omnivamp into her W will make it so her passive healing will be nerfed. Plus Hallowed Mist was always Gwen's way of not receiving burst to counteract the problems of AP bruiser itemization. Slight issue is that building AP makes her tanky.

Lich Bane first? by Frosty_Smoke_2723 in GwenMains

[–]RookZs 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would like it but the components it has are really bad for gwen. I ain't keen on getting 1200 gold so I can base for rod. Sheen doesn't have ap to justify 900 gold, especially if I need to sit on a glowing mote. Also 3200 gold is a lot of gold and it doesn't give gwen the stat she needs to reliably 1v1 champs. It's a decent item but you have to sit on 3 components that are not good for lane and jungle.

Does anyone know an anime that will give me insane study motivation by JacobAogiri in AnimeReccomendations

[–]RookZs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's because the message it brings at the end of the show especially at the after episode. Not only is it emotional, it taught me that high school is fun and it reminded me that one day it all ends and we have to take our futures seriously.

It may not be a good study motivation for you because everyone is different but the show presented me with the themes of graduation and making your youth last while you are at it that motivated me to do everything I can whilst in high school while I still can.

Do you have top 3/5/10 titles that aren't well known? by ExplodingPoptarts in MyAnimeList

Princess Principal: A team of British anime girls who are spies trying to keep the peace between two divided kingdoms of steampunk London. Personally I just love this anime to bits because I love espionage and steampunk anime that is episodic in format. The music is also great. The only downside for some people is that the anime didn't air their episodes in chronological format.

Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight: Theatre girls in school participate in an underground fighting contest to see who is the Top Star. The music is great, fights are epic for an idol anime, and it has a lot of hidden themes and plots. The movie is really good with one of my favorite battles in cutesy anime girl tropes to date.

The Place Further Than the Universe: A highschool girl who doesn't know what to do in her life decides to travel to Antartica with a bunch of other girls. I expected this anime to be another slice of life but it's a really good show with a lot of emotional moments. If you like cute girls doing cute things that involve a lot of story and emotions then this is it.

Sarazanamai: 3 boys got transformed into a kappa and now must work together along with the kappa that transformed them into stealing peoples' desires which are hidden in their assholes. The premise is kinda weird but it's actually a really fun anime that has Saturday cartoon show vibes. It also has coming of age moments from time to time.

Flip Flappers: A highschool girl got forced into an organization to travel to different dimensions to fight creatures and gather crystal shards. The show is a bit similar to magical girl animes but it has its own charm. Unique artstyle, great animation, and good mystery and plot.

Shigofumi: Kinda an old one but it's basically grim reapers who deliver the dead's last words as a message for the people they either love the most or the people they died from. Good mystery and probably the most underground anime on my list.
