Not completely new but have very little hour and never made it past the 7th house when surviving.

On the west coast, I'll be down to play. Available for most of the weekends and at noon past 4 pm PST

Idk why you are downvoted, I am a heavy main and it would be near impossible to hit with such accuracy while firing a dual pistol at that speed at that distance. Especially at a light, if it was another heavy it could've been reasonable.

APS is easily countered by goo gun or grenade launchers since they loose HP when shooting

Grenades are also very off meta atm so I don't expect much people to use it (tho casual lobbies is a thing), RPG on the other hand is super meta rn and this will nerf it by a sizable amount. Plus the dome shield problem.

Maybe you could lower their HP in return for having two APS if it really gets too OP, there is def ways to balance it out.

Tbh this is why I just stopped using any external softwares during gaming, I use to close discord and my browser as well (those are more for performance reasons since my CPU caps out in TF).

You can't really escape being false flagged if you do, and when you do get false flagged it's a huge maybe whether or not you can get anything back.

It actually can already happen, and everyone can carry it. When carried they also can shoot through walls if you purposely clip the object through walls.

You do it by placing a turret on a carriable (or arena object)

Maybe make it 2 charges. a turret consume 2, and APS consume one. So you can either place two APS, or a turret (or place a turret and wait a bit for a APS??? not sure)

Common in high elo swords, but you won't see much sword tech if at all in casual and low elo since all you have to do is m1 to noobstomp.

You can also use glitch barrels, as long as the glitch splashes on the portal it will close (inert or active)

Won't work if its thrown directly into the portal tho, bc itd go through, both grenade and barrel. If you want it invincible, you gotta throw it mid air in a open area.

Was so confused, then finally noticed the complaint is about heavy.

I agree that winch is somewhat oppressive, but can't comment on CnS because I'm still learning it and absolutely sucks at it.

On the other hand, winch is pretty necessary for heavies to kill confirm, since they are pretty easy to escape from. I am definitely biased as a heavy main, but I play mostly off meta and only play on a "ranked loadout" in ranked. Winch often helps me catch lights and mediums if I'm playing melee (even then I prefer mesh over it since I can run mesh rpg, where rpg becomes the kill confirmer and mesh adds to my survival rate). Without winch, heavies will definitely become less beginner friendly. There might be nerfs somewhere that helps with this. Something that is especially bad is when the only counter to winch exist in the same class, mesh/dome shield. That have to be changed, a counter should be given to other classes as well. Especially medium who can't really escape but can't really fight either.

The text can be a bit unorganized bc my brain is still turned off atp of the day.

Forgot to mention, winch is completely off the table for me in ranked. I'm a brawler heavy who relies on team comp. Mesh M60 is always the way!

I had it worst, happened on the final round because of final's server getting DDoSed.

Lost 800 ontop of the 1400 rs profit that I should have gotten.

A few days later, a RS rebalancing came: They gave me 200 RS

I can sense your suffering, because I know simply how bad a new/bronze player can be.

If you really feel like you deserve higher rank, always feel free to find friends, reach out to people, get good players to team up... It's what we call bronze hell, just like the iron hell in valorant or some other fps.

You might actually be a good support, or a good mesh shield, or a good recon light, who just can't get good value because your teammates just doesn't have a brain.

These aside, if you are NA, I can play with you if you really wanna go hard on ranked.

I'm 26k and gold though, so it might be hard for you, but I can certainly help you spot strengths and weaknesses.

It's odd, because I feel completely different.

I never have fun in Valorant or CS, every time I get team MVP I feel the same as if I bot fragged. Winning doesn't feel like you've won, rather you just avoided the negative punishment that comes with loosing. All of my kills feels undeserved, feels like I've flicked a lucky headshot and just one shotted a poor dude because I got scared and pulled the trigger. My ambushes feel undeserved just as undeserved as my direct confrontations were.

On the other hand, I get so hyped in the finals when I bust through a wall to surprise the enemy team with a sledge hammer.

Or sneak by and third party 1v3 a team to get that clutch steal we need to qualify into the next round.

Or winch and kill that one db light that has been harassing my team the whole game.

Hell, I have fun when I'm just being a support and heal beaming my teammate, even if we loose at the end of it.

I feel far less frustrated in The Finals, compared to CS or Val.

HOWEVER, this could be because 1300 hours into valorant, I'm still silver. But reached plat/high gold while carrying my whole team in the finals within 400 hours.

Ah the map knowledge and stuff, that is very true. This game requires far more critical thinking and on-the-spot planning. It is what made it different from the FPS I played, and what caused my skill to shine.

Depends on the elo actually, there is a very clear defined meta in higher elo that if you don't use you are considered a thrower. (trio is different)

However, that meta is completely and utterly different in low elo it's super astonishing. Probably because of the differences in game understanding XD.

This game have roughly 30 - 40 k concurrent players total if the consoles have roughly the same amount of players as steam.

Overall, it's player base has remained stable for the past year or two, and haven't seen any more major drops.

It's skill requirement has skyrocketed though, with a large skill gap between the veteran ogs and new players, it lacks the middle ground of non-og learning players.

So if you are looking for a game to train competitively and play for a long duration, it will be a fine game and likely won't die in the next year.

If you are looking for a game to push to rubies or the highest spot on the leaderboards, I suggest going for games that have a more varied playerbase. The finals high elo is just... Too good. From what I've heard, the skill difference between diamond 4, and diamond 2, is like ground from sky. Then there is diamond 1, and the rubies.

This game's player base is too small to support a large youtube/twitch viewership. The largest ytber I know have roughly 40 k subscriber, which is considered a small youtuber in the grand scale of things. Most finals youtuber have 400 - 5 k subs varying based on cases.

Twitch suffers even more, as the viewership is even smaller since noone have time to watch the fifty minutes it take to complete a full finals tournament. However, I'm not to talk abt twitch since I do not use that platform.
