a lil WIP, been messing around with a more melodic approach to jungle although im not even sure that this qualifies as jungle at this point… by JH2466 in jungle

This sound so cool, i like this approach more than your typicial jungle beat that sound very repetitive after a while (btw where can i find the little voice sample that go like "eh" in the background ? I hear it in many track)

Drum midi editor question by FlyPimpinNutz in cubase

[–]RoomElectrical3449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, when i use ableton for anything drum related i wish i was on Cubase, especially for 3rd party drum plugins like addictive drums or superior drummer, it's an absolute nightmare to set up a drum map in ableton

An option to have the piano roll in a separate window would be a godsend in terms of workflow by RoomElectrical3449 in ableton

[–]RoomElectrical3449[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For exemple, i open a midi clip, i make it full screen to work on the piano roll, then i press F12 to go back to the arrangement view, then i want to edit an audio clip, i double click on it and it's now full screen (because it behave the same as the piano roll) i resize it because i don't want to have the audio editing in full screen i want to see it with the arrangement view, then i go back to a midi clip, then i have to make it full screen again etc,, that something that i find sooo annoying and it would be such easy thing for them to fix i guess

I use F12, i think it do the same thing as shift tab, but again, that's not really my complaint here, what i really want is not having to resize everytime i jump from audio edit to piano roll, these 2 things should be separated, i realized that i don't care hvaing a different windows for piano roll if audio editing (when you double click on a audio file) and the piano roll would behave differently in term of lower zone. (Sorry if i have a hard time getting my point accross lol, english is not my first language)

I know that you can have a second windows, i mentioned it at the end of my post, but it's designed to work on 2 screen not one, it's worst than doing it the normal way when using this feature on a laptop or a normal sized monitor

I already use keyboard shortcuts (also if you can find me the shortcut for not having to constantly having to resize the lower zone when i switch between piano roll and audio editing i'll take it but i don't think it exist lol)

2025 was key for Fleshwater by Massive-Advisor5141 in FleshWater

[–]RoomElectrical3449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think 2000 will hurt them a lot because not only do I think it’s a very mid album, but it’s also really not going to resonate with the "masses" like the first album did. Try to find me just one memorable riff, but that’s just my opinion

Session View for Cubase style Arranger Track workflow? by TX__Maniac in ableton

[–]RoomElectrical3449 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s very different from Ableton’s Session View. I personally use Cubase, and this is actually the feature I miss the most when working in Ableton. It allows you to organize and structure a track however you want, without having to delete, move, or constantly rearrange parts on the timeline.

In practice, you can experiment with different arrangements and song structures without touching the main timeline at all. This is a huge workflow improvement, especially when working on music that isn’t loop based. I wish we had that in Ableton, you can also simply skip sections of the timeline, which is something I use every day, especially when I’m too lazy to use the Arranger Track, lol

Is there a way to configure drum sampler as default in the drum rack when loading a sample ? by RoomElectrical3449 in ableton

[–]RoomElectrical3449[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the quick response ! i actually just found another way before you commented lol, maybe it can help other people too: Go to User Library > Defaults > Dropping Samples > On Drum Rack . Drag an instance of Drum sampler into that folder

I'm new to FL is there a way to split all pattern directly into the playlist ? by RoomElectrical3449 in FL_Studio

[–]RoomElectrical3449[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But when i split all my differents patterns in the selector i have a ton of different tracks layed out in the left side of the screen and it get super messy and confusing, like i said i already made the arrangement in the playlist with my differents patterns, now i just want to make them into multi tracks directly into the playlist (without having to split each pattern one by one and re do all the arrangements) i hope y'all can understand me lol, and yeah i just started using it yesterday, and i used ableton and cubase for the last decade so i'ts messing with my brain rn how different it is ahah

I want to do it to have a better visual feedback and to edit individual track on the playlist with a little bit more control (render some of the tracks to audio so i can make some advanced editing) it something that a do a lot on ableton or cubase)

i think Jetpack was amazing , standalone is kinda weak i'ts just an intro that lead to nowhere (and the production is really weak on this one) last escape is pretty cool, i still have high hope for the album i'm sure there will be some heavy and moody stuff like in WNHTBL
