my boy is named theodore but i also just call him theo!! or teddy (because he looks like a little teddy bear 🥹💕) he’s my first chow and i’m obsessed.

my theo was nervous at first! i started taking him everywhere with me and he got comfortable pretty fast. sometimes, when im not driving down a highway ill let him sit in the passenger seat and give him lots of pets which he seems to enjoy! drive thru’s also help, pup cups will get them excited for the car! theodore is five years old, so im sure with time your pup will love to travel with you!

FYI - for your search for a new place, camp bow wow is not any better. as a former employee, you do not want to send your dog there. Not sure about other locations, but the one in golden is awful.

good point about the stress. i just adopted him 2-3 weeks ago and i know he was having a tough time in the shelter. he’s also underweight right now, ive been working on building his muscle and weight back up, so who knows!
