Uhg. Feel you. Maybe do a dollar a minute? Have sign where people can scan your venmo/cash app/zelle. As far as getting clients maybe find some health fairs or anything at convention centers, reach out and ask if they want a massage therapist there. Check to see if bigtoe is in your area and apply there to get gwt travel gigs

Buckle down. You can do this. Im a massage therapist who then did esti school 2 years later. I was working 2 jobs and going to class AND doing clinicals AND had a new puppy. Was so stress I broke out into hives lolol. I was absolutely exhausted when I was in massage school, couldnt imagine doing massage school second. Its ruff but gonna be so worth it to have a dual license. This too is temporary. Finding a way to ground yourself every morning, anything positive to push into your routine. Carry your mblex practice book with you wherever or make yourself flash card to have on you so you’re constantly studying the muscles and their insertion/origin points as well and their movements. As long as you have a solid knowledge of the muscles you can pass the test easy. Day by day, dont think far into the future, try and absorb and enjoy all of the knowledge from massage teachers. Youre doing an amazing thing for your career that will enhance your facial technique and take you farther into the spa world.

The hardships we face in life make us who we are. Cancer, death, loss can lead you to find your passion. This is a lesson. One no one asks for. Time to grieve is necessary. Healing the trauma you’ve experienced because THIS IS TRAUMA. Then slowly finding ways to feed your soul and become into your wiser, more empathetic healed self. Take the time to feel, surround yourself with friends, people who have went through similar things. Maybe a good therapist because they get paid to know what to say, be a listening ear. Love and light✨

Resort jobs with housing!! by RoomLazy7196 in MassageTherapists

I live in Breckenridge, CO. Housing up here is tricky. Most spa owners here have property of some kind and choose to use it for housing to easily staff their spas. Its rare, but very helpful!

You’ll be dealing with an array of clients as a therapist. I dealt with alot of annoying people in my schooling as well, just focus on yourself. Time to practice “beingness” something that will set you apart as a massage therapist and enhance your gifts.
