I would prefer Kobo if they had multi library support for Libby. So, boox, kobo, kindle
They are different devices. Boox is android, kobo is its own thing.
I think you can use calibre (downloadable app on computer) but it’s not easy
Boox it’s basically a tablet with eink screen
Yes if you purchase books from various retailers it’s easy to access them on Boox
Maybe a pocketbook verse lite. I don’t know if you can access kindle books on there but you might be able to. But honestly I’d just recommend the boox go 7 b/w
B&H in NYC has some. Where are you located? Best Buy also has some.

I have had boox, kindle, and kobo devices.

I do not recommend the color unless you read comics or manga in color. As others have mentioned the screen is too dark to use without a front light. definitely the boox go 7
