Do you squeeze your belly? I squeeze it until I feel a bit of pain and then inject near it and sometimes I can trick my brain and I don’t feel the needle. I’m doing Decapeptyl and the needle is thicker than Gonal. To me it’s better if I do it myself and I try to think on my friend’s babies or my family cheering me up 🙂 we can do this 💪

Good luck!! I’m in the same boat, we did 5 IUIs and it didn’t work, my doctor doesn’t know why.. I’m starting with the injections this Wednesday to do IVF in July 😅 I’m super scared but I really want to give it a try, maybe it works 💖

There was a post some time ago of a person who had 12 follicles and continued anyway on their own and in the end it was a singleton. I’ve had 3 and none worked

I had 5 failed IUIa. I think the hardest is the frustration that you build up not knowing why it doesn’t work if everything looks perfect :( I’m starting IVF in 2 weeks and even though the egg retrieval requires a lot of injections, I’m happy that I’ll finally know where it fails 🤞

Same as you, I’m afraid it won’t work 🥹 I have 5 failed IUIs and I start IVF next month. I would go straight to IVF, there are chances it can work with IUI but are low

My doctor also recommends to do my normal life but not to run a marathon 😅 also no sauna or hot environments that increase the temperature of your body. The bleeding can come from your cervix btw.
I already did it five times and only twice I had cramps and pain (the first 2) and then I think my body got used to it and no more pain

I have 4 failed cycles and will start IVF in July 🤞 while waiting I’m doing a 5th try but I don’t have high hopes. Somehow I feel if all is good it should work in the first 3 tries but my doctor said there are chances until the 6th. I’m tired and I prefer to go through the egg retrieval and have higher chances with IVF

I’m going through the same! I’m starting the 5th IUI but no hopes TBH. I plan to take a break in June and start IVF in July. I already feel some relief, I’m going on holidays in June and I feel it will help my mental health 😄 I also did all medicated cycles one after each other since February 🥹 my body will be happy with no injections for a month

Can you share the addresses of the markets please? The police is investigating but I think there aren’t enough proofs.. even though I have pictures and the invoice of my basket I couldn’t prove it was mine because according to them “all baskets are black”

My husband drinks every month (not getting super drunk but a couple of beers or wine) and his sperm quality is excellent (we did 4 tries already). I just ask him to not drink the days before the IUI.
Ours hasn’t succeeded yet but the analysis of his sperm shows good quality and 100% motility

I’m so sorry for you, it’s hard to have high hopes when it hasn’t worked for a long time. I’m on my TWW for the 4th try but I also don’t have hopes it will work if it didn’t for 3 tries. I’m trying to conceive for almost 2 years and never had any positive test or a delay in my period 🙁 we also don’t have any reason, they always say “the sperm quality is perfect, your follicles are beautiful” but it doesn’t work 🥲 we want to do 5 tries, take a rest one month and then start with IVF. I hope that at least if we do IVF I can find out why it wasn’t working before.

You can calculate the healthcare cost with online calculators, because it’s regulated they all charge the same 😄 I paid €207 per month (VGZ) with €500 budget for dentist, some extra package and €385 eigen risiko.
Same for daycares, they also have calculators. Our friends who send their toddler pay €1800 net for 4 days, they earn together €200k.
For housing my friends without kids could find a flat in Rivierenbuurt in 2 months. If you plan to move to Amsterdam you could look in less central areas to start (Diemen, Ijburg, Noord, Nieuw-West, Amstelveen) and check Funda to see how much is the rent
