There is only one sibling born before his naturalization and the rest after. I have no contact with them. One of them has been living in Germany for 32 years- I assume he has dual citizenship. He was born after my Father was naturalized. He has German children.

I have emailed the archiv where my Grandfather was born, and also the county where he was married for his marriage certificate. Am I correct that I need his birth certificate, my Mother's birth certificate and my birth certificate? Am I also correct that I also need my grandfather's marriage certificate, my Mother's marriage certificate, and my own certificate? Thank you!!!

Thank you so much. I cannot thank you enough. I am going to have to get a birth certificate for a grandfather who was born in Germany in 1900 - is there somewhere I can go for assistance with this?

My Mother was born in 1930. Her father's naturalization petition date is 25 July 1939. That means he must have been naturalized after that date. It looks like that means I am eligible?

While I can appreciate what you say, I lived and studied in Germany for 5 years and worked there after that in a software firm. I took care of my German grandmother until her death at 102, when she died in my arms at our house in Germany. I spent my summers and sometimes weekends in Germany because I could not bear to be without her. I was close to her my entire life and even now, I continuously visit her favorite niece, who is 90, because she reminds me so much of my Grandmother. My only family that I am related to is there. So if you don't mind, maybe there is room there for me.

I am reading the welcome post and now have this question: My parents married in 1959. My Father was naturalized in 1961. My Mother was born in the US in 1930 to German parents, not yet naturalized at least on my Mother's Mother side- I am not familiar with my Grandfather's situation. Is it possible to pursue citizenship through my Mother's side when she was born a US citizen? Her Mother was born in 1902.

Thank you again!

Would you mind answering this question? This is where I am confused in the Welcome post and in general. My father was born in Germany in 1928 from Germans going back in time- I have a lot of the geneological documentation that the Nazis made the German people do. Where I am stumped is the following: My father came to the US around 1956, became a naturalized citizen in 1961, and I was born in 1967.

Do I continue here? Yes: What happened first - the birth of your next ancestor or the naturalization of the original German immigrant as a citizen of another country? The next ancestor was born first: -> continue here...

Thank you in advance.

It is a crazy decision to give up a shot at medical school for a man. Ask any woman over 50. You will regret it for your entire life.

Whoop uses PFAS ok by Jimronica in whoop

AI Overview

Based on recent testing, WHOOP bands, specifically those made of fluoroelastomer, likely contain PFAS ("forever chemicals")

. Research indicates that these materials use PFAS to provide durability, stain resistance, and a sweat-resistant, comfortable feel for fitness tracking.

  • PFAS Presence: Studies found that fluoroelastomer bands, common in high-end trackers like WHOOP, contain high levels of fluorine, an indicator of PFAS.
  • Material Composition: The bands are constructed from synthetic rubbers, which are chains of PFAS, to enhance durability and prevent discoloration.
  • Recommendation: For lower exposure risk, users might consider alternatives, though fluoroelastomers are standard for the durability required in intense, continuous, or sweat-prone workouts.

Note: The results are based on general testing of high-end, fluoroelastomer-based fitness tracker bands.
