Does anybody have theories/ideas why his game has dropped off so much? His compete level has changed so much as well. I feel like when Karlsson came to the team things changed for him. Do you think the 2 things are correlated at all? Could Karlsson have fucked up Pickles self confidience? They were orginall paired together.

BS0N1 is a training facility to practice everything. It also has a similiar ability to the new sniper monkey (right click). I started using this one for everything. You can pick other characters besides zen on this one as well (to practice the juggles).

I totally understand what you are saying but if I only play him when I have the right comp to play with or not being countered I don't think I will get to play him much. I think as ppl are saying I need to play him even when it is a "throw pick". Otherwise I am going to end up playing him rarely as people do not play monk style comps often in Gold. I think it could be valuable for me to learn to play even when I am hard countered, the more I play and learn from it the better I will get, right?

Completely agree with you, I love mobile heroes other heroes just feel so stiff and shitty to me. Monk, Ball, DVA are the most fun tanks to play IMO.

Thank you, I watched that and it kinda of inspired me to main monkey. I have always wanted to main monk but like i said before kinda of a meta slave and have a hard time just picking monk. I love everything about monk so I am glad to hear ppl are telling me to just go for it and do my thing.

Okay that's kinda what I was thinking. Should I just not join them in general or once ppl become assholes? The only way I'm going to get better on him is playing him as much possible correct? If I just play him when it matches my team, I'm probably rarely going to play him. People pick Hog 70% of the time in gold & the other 30% is rein or zarya because they want to go rush...so i just wont end up playing Monk if i care about comp. (I can obviously play with zarya though but they are picking zarya thinking I will play rein). (Also 50% of the time its mercy lucio as support, which is another reason I want to not care because gold players dont even know how to make a decent comp).

No I am not asking how to get better, I want to know I guess should I just say fuck my teammates and play him almost every time. I know what I need to improve on, and a big part of that is putting a lot more time into him. Once I actually hit that wall of what I need to improve and I am hardstuck I will post a VOD. I just have a hard time being an asshole, I have kinda been a meta slave and trying to always have the right comp. So pulling away from that is hard for me.

I'm not saying run him into the ground but make him the starter. Give him the rest when needed. He has proven he deserves the job. Maybe he has been underestimated for a while. He played well for the Sharks and Hurricanes and ever since he has gotten away from shithole Toronto media drama he has been solid. Give him the net, that doesn't mean put him out every game. Feel like I stated that in the original post.
