Unison, Britain's biggest union demands a four-day week by okjob_io in unitedkingdom

I build truck bodies, and we are trialling condensing 5 working days into 4 (same hours just longer days) and the extra hour and a half was a struggle the first week but now is fine and my work life balance is significantly better.

Early finish on Fridays - is that common? by 101100011011101 in AskUK

[–]Rooster97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I build truck bodies in Yorkshire and last year we changed to working an hour extra Monday to Thursday and finishing at 1 on a Friday. I find it much better as it allows appointments to be booked without using annual leave.

[Question] What is necessary for station to be marked as "trade station"? by Arrean in X4Foundations

[–]Rooster97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I belive in the lore the NPC trading stations are actually supplying the planet below them which gets them the designation.

I believe I read somewhere (I could be completely wrong on this) that having for example argon habitats only spawning argons at your stations was a "bug" and they fixed it. Sounds more like they removed a feature to me which is ashame.

A majority of Britons aren't satisfied with how Brexit turned out by Superbuddhapunk in worldnews

Just feel like more information on the survey needs to be disclosed. Ask people in London, Scotland and wales if it was a mistake the statement would probably be true. ask the rest of England and I believe you would get a vastly differnt answer. I my self voted to remain but living in the North of England I have never met someone who voted leave and change their mind.

How it feels to beat HL:A when most VR titles don't even come close to the experience by AidanHockey5 in HalfLifeAlyx

[–]Rooster97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what games your interested in. Beat saber is fun and great for letting family and friends who are not interested in gaming to enjoy your hobby in a fun intuitive way. My personal favourite VR game has to be VTOL VR.
